  1. Hi Jerry I actually have an East West Choir library and that has a word builder. I could never get it to work as I wanted it, if at all, so kudos - great job - you must have real patience!! As I said, the artifacts are really minor and I doubt many people would even notice them!!! Nigel
  2. I Jerry - I really liked this one, I liked the brooding, fear inducing nature to it!! One thing, what did you use on the choir? On listening carefully, i thought i could hear a few artifacts?? only occasionally and no big deal Cool Nigel
  3. Hi - great vocals and harmonies - enjoyed the track Cool Nigel
  4. HI Justin Only just got to listen to this latest mix - I think your Daughter has a fabulous voice and she will only get better I am sure!! Have to agree with Mark re the effect on the Guitar - really don't think that is doing you any favours. If it were me, I would shorten the track, ending it around or just after the break at 3.10 - however I like that drum change up at 3.45 so would want to keep that - but as I said, personal preference only, your track so 100% your choice.? Really enjoyed this Very cool Nigel
  5. Nice recording and sounds on the base and acoustic Guitars Enjoyed the track Nigel
  6. heard a bit of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen in this, or was that my imagination? cool stuff Nigel

cool track, enjoyed the listen - nothing like a bit of foot tapping in the morning!! Nigel
  8. Hi Freddy - belated congratulations on the significant anniversary!! liked the stripped down nature of the track and the heartfelt lyrics - really liked the guitar playing Great stuff Cool Nigel
  9. This is very well done - have to admit never heard of Agnes Obel so had to look her up!! Glad I did. Your cover sounds pretty close to the original with some really nice strings and a very good mix Excellent Nigel
  10. thought the mix on this was fantastic - loved the basses Cool track Nigel
  11. can only echo all the above comments - great stuff Cool Nigel
  12. cool stuff and congratulations - let us know how it goes Nigel
  13. My first were Flying Haggis from DB Software (still works and I still use it, although 32bit only) Alien Connections Revalver - eventually stopped working after sold to Peavy I think it was and Nomad Factory Rock Amp - never used that one much Waves GTR - that never worked properly and I gave up on Waves a long time ago Amplitube - I sort of gave up on this as well as it always seem to need new bits (purchased) to work! Guitar Rig - occasionally now if I use Amp Sims, I mainly use Kuassa, S Gear, overloud, and a couple of individual Amps from Plugin Alliance. If possible I now try and record off a real amp - not always possible but I prefer it sound wise Nigel
  14. well if you hadn't mentioned this was a Lenny Kravitz cover, I would never have guessed - definitely sounds more Motown than anything else!! never heard the original, but like the sound of the cover Good stuff Nigel
  15. Very nicely put together - it sounds very impressive and mix sounds good Cool Nigel

  20. Love the off kilter Guitar Cool Stuff Nigel
  21. enjoyed this and I also didn't notice the piano too much just occasionally perhaps - but if you worried about it did you try EQ - or there is a new Free Plug in that might help https://freevstplugins.net/wavegrove-vastaus/ I only downloaded this a while ago and tried it on a few things - on some it did seem to make a difference - its a bit like Oeksound Soothe but considerably cheaper? Nigel
  22. I enjoyed this - sounded great considering it was from a very old Tape - you did a great job cleaning that up Cool Nigel
  23. Barry - just seen this and noted your comments re perhaps a new singer - I honestly think you are being a little over critical here as the vocals sound OK to me - I do think some harmonies would work well. And if you're worried about the timbre of your voice, how about a bit of grit or something like that?? just a suggestion. Maybe double your vocals to thicken them up a bit or use a doubler program? just some thoughts Really enjoyed this and some great guitar Nigel
  24. Scary!! Enjoyed the listen!! Nigel
  25. Exactly what Markus said!! - really cool Nigel
