NI is lucky to have guys like Adil and ED as employees.. I hope they keep on doing their thing for the sake of the users.

This is a pretty good deal.. https://8dio.com/products/studio-vintage-series-all-keyboard-bundle-for-kontakt-vst-au-aax?variant=41310046290120 I only have the 8Dio Rhodes and Wurlitzer. There are so many Rhodes and Wurlitzer libs out there, but these 2 are worth the price alone and are better than all the others IMO. Vintage Hammond Organ (mixed opinions on the web) CP70 Electric Piano (i never liked the CP70 sound, but maybe this library would change my mind..) Studio D6 Clavinet (mixed opinions on the web) Rhodes 54 Piano (best i own) Wurlitzer 200A (best i own)

@sadicus yes, I never got an answer to this. its still on my wishlist, because imo it does not behave like it should.
-
Yes, btw. could any of you try out some 8dio libraries that have heavy CPU spikes and do not work starting from KONTAKT 7.5.0? https://vi-control.net/community/threads/cpu-spikes-with-8dio-libraries-can-you-try-if-you-have-the-same-issues-starting-with-k7-5-0.144608/

Update: Focusrite - Scarlett Drivers - Focusrite Control 3.15

I have the 18i20 3rd Gen, like the Hardware, but hate the Mixer Software.. it is so not intuitive.. ever time I open it up I have to re-learn the entire routing because of the horrendous visualization in the GUI. I hope one day they will re-design the GUI -

FREE!! A Really Nice Wurli Electric Piano for KONTAKT (full)
Peter Hintze replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
@PavlovsCat: maybe somebody with a RX7 license could batch process/clean up the files? -
thank you. what is the difference w between purchasing Witcher on GOG or on Epic or Steam?
-
imo all soundpaint instruments are.. they are stripped down libraries which rely too much one the internal fx.. they dont even have realistic release samples (at least in the libraries I have: the Rhodes and the free Piano).. strange, strange..
-
thank you very much! nice playing! I also tried some demos but it has never the same warmth than they achieved with the free Imperial.. strange VSL put so much effort into the sampling, and some of the mic positions sound so far away or when close a bit hollow and thin.. and too bright for my taste, especially in the lower octaves. If you like, please listen to the album h hunt - playing piano for dad (free download at Website Tasty Morsels or on Spotify).. How (or with which library) can I get close to this sound? Peter
-
yeah probably something like that, the third one is Sonar 8.5
-
Hi, I have found my old, well preserved (empty) Sonar boxes. If somebody wants to put them in their studio shelves or for some other reason send me a PM. I am in Berlin, Germany so there would be some shipping costs involved. Or you can come by and we have a chat about the good ol' Cakewalk times... Peter

The VSL free piano is very convincing indeed. I will try their demos one after the other. But what makes me hesitate is that most of the VSL pianos are recorded in the big "Stage A" which results in too much natural reverb for my taste. I would like to see some intimate sounding pianos from VSL. The Stage B is better, but still pretty "wet". The VSL free piano was recorded apparantly in a smaller room. But of course it has not so many velocity layers (does anyone know how many?) and no additional mic options. But I love its sound.

Whats so bad about Kontakt (apart from HiDPI missing)? I would feel free if the count of VSTs would be under 10 in my DAW.

What's on your BLACK FRIDAY Wish List? (Not a Deal)
Peter Hintze replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
I am looking at VSL instruments.. the free piano they have convinced me.. is the best free piano imo. the GUI is not as fancy but I actually - for the first time - do not need to change the first preset they have for it. I just open it up and play.. -
thank you guys.. but I did not get any discount with the codes you sent. maybe I have bought too much from 8dio in recent years - I am not discount worthy..
