so 2. is it cakewalks fault or a bug in CR8? 3. i have waves central, but I have never seen an update notification like in the Native Instruments or Arturia Client. Does Waves perform the updates in the background without notification ?

Can anyone help me with 3 questions I have..? 1. Cosmos launches but gets stuck creating the database. Does anyone has the same error?? 2. and CR8 disappears in the lists of VSTi after Cakewalk is launched a second time? why is that? 3. How does Waves provide updates to their software to us users? (e. g. the Native Instrument clients highlights updates to installed software, I don't see anything like this in the Waves Client..? Thank you, Peter

Yes.. this is discussed in every forum, and also in the official beta tester forum. Some of the obvious tweaks (e. g. press enter for value entry ;), mouse scroll for value changes,...) take longer than you would expect.... A resizeable GUI is the main unresolved issue. Hopefully it will be addressed in v7. Let's hope NI survives the latest merger and Kontakt will be their main focus..

Hi, can anyone tell me how to create a TEMPO TRACK based on a take recorded without metronome. In other words, i want to adjust the tempo (and all changes) of the project based on the recording i made. Thank you very much. Peter

- improve zoom functions (custom keybindings, wheel settings)

I noticed that the Mouse Wheel Zoom Options and the available keybindings are not well designed and in addition some of the functions are broken. Errors: With the following settings: 1. Zoom factor set at 2.0 (or higher) for horizontal/verticall & 2. Zoom In / Out at Cursor. 3. Simultaneous zoom option turned off. Trry zooming in / out (with Shift+Alt + Wheel). Zooming stops if the zoom fector is set higher/smaller than the reminaing track height is. And also the Zoom behaviour gets erratic after a few zooms and stops vertically, and if the track buttom is not in the track view extent anymore. The +Shift-option to make zooming faster does not work in neither mode and in neither direction. The keybinding for horizontal zoom different on the 2 modes: for with simultaneous zoom option turned on/off Since Track View navigation / zooming is one of the most used functions i hope this gets resolved in the near future. Thank you.

What I found is that version 4 offers also much more possibilities to tweak the preset sounds=there are 8 knobs and many sliders. Version V offers only 4 knobs.. is that so?
