  1. What Is And What Should Never Be - Led Zeppelin People often say great things about Page, Plant and Bonham, but not as often about John Paul Jones who IMO is one of the best bass players in Rock n Roll music. (Right behind Bapu of course)
  2. So how do I find dark reader mode in Foxfire? I am using the dark mode theme. Thanks, Notes ♫
  3. Great vocal arrangement on this dated song. The Warmth Of The Sun - Beach Boys
  4. The Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd I absolutely love Clare Torry's improvised vocals on this song. At the time I wanted to transcribe it and play it on saxophone, but the rest of the band I was in didn't want to do it.
  5. And 'they' say we domesticated our pets. I think the aliens referred to in that sign would be correct. We feed them, bathe them, give them medical attention, clean up after them, and they do no work at all. Sounds like royalty to me. Notes ♫
  6. Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34: composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov - Yuri Simonov conducts the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra
  7. Girls & Boys = Children Little Children - Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas
  8. We have a relative who speaks UK English and when she complained about the US not knowing how to speak, Mrs. Notes told her "I can understand aluminium instead of aluminum because it makes a bit of sense, but why in the would would pronounce Leicester as LESS-stir?" Our sister-in-law has never complained about US English since. Notes ♫
  9. Prison is just one word to you, but for some people, it’s a whole sentence.
  10. I Was Born On The Day Before Yesterday - From "The Wiz"
  11. I Thought It Was A Great Idea To Buy 5000 'Bone Shape' Paper Clips For Our Veterinary Clinic
  12. Superman Lover - Johnny Guitar Watson I like Mr. Watson, he is a fun performer who I think left us too soon.
  13. Wibbles? Anyone heard from Wibbles? Is he OK? Hopefully just playin' hookey. Notes ♫
  14. I gigged on cruise ships for 3 years. I did 3 different tours in the Caribbean; Puerto Rico, Bahamas, all 3 US Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Caymans, Saint Martin/Sint Maarten, Cozumel. I watched a lot of passengers come back to the ship after days of beer, rum, or tequila, depending on the port of call. I came to the conclusion that the happiest drunks must be those who drank tequila. They returned to the ship with ear to ear grins on their faces. We didn't drink in port having to gig at night, except for Puerto Rico, our 'long port'. San Juan had some great salsa bands in the lounges and of course, we didn't have to work that night. Notes ♫
