  1. Meet The Flintstones - Theme song for the TV show by Hoyt Curtin, Joseph Barbera and William Hanna lyrics: We'll have a gay old time Note, the chord changes are from George & Ira Gershwin's "I Got Rhythm". Quite a few jazz standards have been written over these same changes, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_changes
  2. My Buddy - jazz standard by Walter Donaldson & Gus Kahn When I was young, the old musicians from the Big Band Jazz era used to play this one at the funerals of their fellow musicians.
  3. Ninja'd by a second .... so.... Ella Hums The Blues - Ella Fitzgerald
  4. Food? How about 30,000 Pounds of Bananas - Harry Chapin
  5. I think they spelled buttes wrong.
  6. Science Fiction - Divinyls
  7. It's A Raggy Waltz - Dave Brubeck Quartet Paul Desmond, the sax player, is one of my all-time favorite alto saxophonists. And the two beat figures over the 3/4 time signature make the song difficult to sight-read, but once you get it, it makes sense.
  8. I haven't heard this one in years. Gino Vannelli - A Pauper In Paradise (all 4 movements hopefully, I'm going to start right now) Notes ♫
  9. Shins = Legs Legs - ZZ Top
  10. Time Is On My Side - Kai WInding (the original) First vocal version by Irma Thomas And last, but not least
  11. I stole it to begin with
  12. Monkey Time - Major Lance I like this one
  13. The Universe is Calling · Sun Ra & His Arkestra Sun Ra was a talented pianist, who IMO went over the deep end and made some very unusual music.
  14. Walkin' - Stanley Turrentine (one of my all-time favorite jazz saxophonists)
  15. Jelly Jelly Jelly - Bobby "Blue" Bland Blues standerd sung by many, I rather like the Bobby Bland version.
