  1. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) – Beatles
  2. Thunder And Lightning – Chi Coltrane I know I posted this one a long time ago, but I really like this cut...
  3. Q: Did you hear about the racing snail who got rid of his shell? A: He thought it would make him faster, but it just made him sluggish.
  4. Jump Jive and Wail - Louis Prima, Keely Smith with Sam Butera (sax) and the Witnesses
  5. While we're doing initials: Back In Love Again – L.T.D. I played this in a band when it was popular
  6. I love this LP. Musica Latina from Puerto Rico at it's finest. When gigging on cruise ships, our long port was San Juan. They were having a street festival in Bayamon, a suburb, and 4 of us took a cab out there. 12 Salsa and Merengue bands, and this one was the very best of the best.
  7. Cry, Cry, Cry – Bobby 'Blue' Bland I bought that LP when I was a youngster, and still have it. There are song good cuts on it.
  8. When having becan and eggs in the morning, the chicken made a contribution, the pig made a commitment.
  9. On our 'house gig' there is a mixture of ages from teens to quite old. I'ts on a public beach. Most are tourists so we can use the same gags again and again. So we had a request for a Frank Sinatra song yesterday, "The Summer Wind" (nice song BTW). So I announce it "Here a song by Frank Sinatra, "The Summer Wind", also done by Metallica other their "Metallica Croons the Hits of Frank Sinatra" album. Usually gets a laugh if done at the right time and with the right audience. Often for sweet ballads, but the timing was right for "Summer Wind". Notes ♫
  10. Spin The Bottle – Juliana Hatfield Three
  11. Just part of the wrapper. Finally, a vegan burger without a boatload of chemical ingredients. ------ True story: I was on the road in a band, and we played a gig in Key West, Florida. The gig went long, and the only thing still open was a fast-food restaurant. The organ player was a "vegetarian". So he tried to order something without meat. Grilled cheese, anything, but the system would only take what the push buttons on the register described. So he ordered a cheeseburger with everything, but without the meat. IMO a person who eats cheese or eggs is not a vegetarian, just a picky eater. After all, what vegetable did that cheese or egg come from? Insights and incites by Notes ♫
