  1. The Court Of The Crimson King - King Crimson I've always liked this one.
  2. My friend David had his ID stolen... Now he's just Dav
  3. How about Beethoven's 5th symphony mixed with Perez Prado's Mambo #5? ( NOT the Lou Bega non-mambo abortion of Perez's #5 ).
  4. Bohemian Rhapsody played on a ukulele by Jake Shimabukuro. It's pretty amazing to get that many parts of the song on a uke.
  5. Before the crowbar was invented Crows had to drink at home.
  6. I sued the airline for losing my luggage. I lost my case.
  7. Autumn In New York - Billie Holiday I like Billie, but in small doses.
  8. Before We Lose Tomorrow (Antes Que Seja Tarde) - Mark Murphy A nice interpretation of Ivan Lins, a find Brazilian composer with some Brazilian musicians as well.
  9. Did you hear about the tire dealer that had a blowout sale?
  10. "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show" - Neil Diamond I think it's his best song. Musically IMO it borders on fine art, and the studio musicians (I assume The Wrecking Crew) did a fantastic job.
  11. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" - Rolling Stones
  12. Danse Macabre - Camille Saint-Saëns (my favorite French composer and I think it relates to the videos Vernon and Wibbles offered)
  13. Don't ya hate those who hog the shallow end of the pool? What we need is a pool shark.
  14. I like Christmas music. Every non COVID year I play a dozen holiday parties. I get to see old friend/clients who hire us every year, the women look good dressed in red, the mood is festive, I get to play music all night, and at the end of the night they pay me money. What can be wrong with that? Notes
  15. Actually I think I'm a very good cowbell and tambourine player. Most of the time it's tambourine, but I play the cowbell whenever the moo-d strikes me. And that ain't no bull (I'm tooting my own horn). OK maybe it is bull, but I got a couple of puns in.
  16. The feather dancer was rushed to the hospital. Her boa constricted her.
  17. Pistol Packin' Mama - The Andrews Sisters with Bing Crosby
  18. I started on drums, switched to sax. On the road with rock bands I learned to cover parts with bass, keys, and rhythm guitar for those songs where the songwriter didn't have the ultimate wisdom to include a sax part. Later I taught myself vocals, wind synth, and my latest, lead guitar. I played bass for a while in the psychedelic era when saxes were not in demand, and even played bass for Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon for a short series of concerts. Bass is a fun instrument too. I think the sax will do a lot of things the guitar cannot do, but then the guitar will do a lot of things the sax won't do. Sax will always be my primary instrument, so if it makes a comeback in pop music, I'll be very happy about that. Notes
