  3. They're not skinny, they're long (at least it's what I tell the girls).
  4. Abbey Road Medley - The Beatles In my personal opinion it's the best piece of work they did. I don't know what the "restored" version is all about, I'm about to find out.
  5. Agreed. I find it a turn-off myself. But then they aren't doing it to attract my attention. When I was a kid I wanted a tattoo. My mother refused to let me. It's one of the things she didn't let me do that I appreciate the most. I read that a doc that does autopsies said that he can always tell the people who have tats, their lymph nodes are black from trying to get the toxic ink out of their system. I wonder if that impairs the immune system that the lymph system is a major part of. Notes
  6. Honky Tonk - Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown
  7. "No Pain For Cakes" - The Lounge Lizards
  8. My ex-wife decided to get fit and walk 5 miles a day. I haven't seen her since. Last I heard she was in Oregon.
  9. And a song that still gets a rise out of the audience we have target. I like playing it because I left room in our sequence for a distorted, compressed guitar solo. As a sax player, getting to do things on the guitar that I can't do on the sax is just good, clean, fun. Play That Funky Music White Boy - Wild Cherry
  10. Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Romeo & Juliet Overture - Valery Gergiev & the London Symphony Orchestra IMO, one of the most emotional and beautiful pieces of music ever written. I've not heard this version yet (listening to it now) by Mr. Gergiev is a great conductor and the LSO is a great orchestra. So far- so good!
  11. I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down.
  12. Gate Swings Again - Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown Besides for being a monster guitar player, he has a great band
  13. Suffragette City - Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars (David Bowie)
  14. Cause We've Ended As Lovers - Jeff Beck IMO Jeff is the most technically accomplished rock guitarist to date.
  15. Devil Or Angel - TheClovers (the original recording of this song)
  16. Time After Time - Eva Cassidy (she was just way too good)
  17. Good thing they aren't electricians, 'cause they would fix their shorts. groooooooaaaaaaaan
