  1. Some Hank Ballard and the Midnighters - a pioneer rock group that IMO deserves more historical credit. Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go Finger Poppin' Time The Continental Walk Work With Me Annie
  2. Devil or Angel - The Clovers (one of the pioneer groups of rock music, back in in the prehistoric era)
  3. I disagree with: * Eyeglasses: I tried contact lenses, and they didn't work for me. * Multivitamins: Since I am on the keto diet (lost pounds) I need the vitamins I don't get on this diet. The rest on the list I've either already quit buying or never did buy. Insights and incites by Notes
  4. Fly Me To The Moon - jazz standard by Bart Howard. Probably most famously recorded by Frank Sinatra
  5. Joe Walsh - Live From Daryl's House 11.15.2012
  6. I've started investing in stocks: Beef, chicken, and vegetable... One day I hope to be a bouillonaire.

  8. lyrics: Damn this traffic jam... Traffic Jam - James Taylor
  9. "Killer Joe" - Benny Golson A jazz standard penned by Mr. Golson And Mr. Dalto's take on it And with some vocals by Manhattan Transfer
  10. "Don't Go To Strangers" - Amy Winehouse & Paul Weller Amy was one talented lady.
  11. I played in a band with a guitarist named Jose. We called him "Hose". I wondered if we replaced him if the new guitarist would be "Hose B". True story.
  12. I bought a used flute, a fingering chart, had a girl fan who played the flute teach me the embouchure, and I taught myself the rest. Thanks to Ian I am now a flute player along with sax, wind synth, bass, guitar, keyboard synth, drums and voice. Insights and incites by Notes
  13. I wonder if Abrahams regretted leaving Tull after Tull got famous and very profitible. I have a B-Big album or two somewhere in my LP collection. My favorite Tull albums are the earlier ones: This Was, Stand Up, Benefit, Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, Passion Play, and War Child. Then for no particular reason I drifted away. I've enjoyed a lot what I've heard in later offerings, but never purchased another LP. I don't know why, perhaps it was just time for me to move on. Notes
  14. I do appreciate their music. One of my faves - "My God" because of the flute solo
  15. Highway Star - Deep Purple I was driving my car today, and my minivan is no highway star by any stretch of the imagination, but if I ever get to gig again, it'll carry my PA and instruments, and for a couple of hours while I'm on stage, I'll be a star (a very minor star, but a star none the less). ???
  16. Call Me - Eliane Elias Not the original, but a very nice version by a talented pianist/singer.
  17. Cat puns freak meowt. Seriously, I'm not kitten.
