Dynastia -- FREE OTT Clone by Outobugi (Windows only)
Esteban Villanova replied to locrian's topic in Deals
"Where Dynastia differs from its Xfer-made inspiration is the inclusion of stereo width controls, distortion, and mid/side compression. Also present are separate up and down thresholds and some great visualization for how the dynamics processor is affecting the material." EDIT: plus it really looks nicer. -
Tracktion was never made by them, just included with some products.

I actually got refinement and I've already put it in a background vocal buss (9 vocal tracks) and it works wonders! Totally recommended! -

How's bx_refinement for taming harshness? I'm in need of something like that. Both my voice and my microphone have some nasty harsh frequencies ? -

I wonder if the next CbB update is going to be a biggie!
Esteban Villanova replied to Promidi's topic in Deals
Either a biggie or confirmation that CbB is in maintenance mode and no more big updates are coming. -

Tukan Studios Releases FREE Dynamic EQ For Reaper
Esteban Villanova replied to locrian's topic in Deals
All the Tukan plugins add immense value to REAPER. Analog summing, eq's, comps, verbs, delays, modulation, sequenced fx, amp sims... wow. -
That sucks man... there seem to be some problems with the 16 which don't occur at 4 or 8. The drivers do occasionally freeze the screen, but I do have a bunch of stuff open at all times... Disconnecting it helps. At the beginning I was having lots of problems that got solved once I set Windows at the same sample rate as the interface (right-click on speaker icon, select "Sounds", go to the properties panel of the input and output of your interface and change set the sample rate and bit depth to the same values as the EVO control panel).

? I will never download a product on release day again
-
Glad to hear it's still going strong after a year. The plastic is a bit unnerving and I'm a clumsy guy lol.
-
I just got their cheaper EVO 4 interface. Miles ahead of my 1st gen Scarlett in sound quality, noise level, ASIO driver performance, latency... Plus the guitar input with a JFET really brings amp sims to live. Didn't know what I was missing.

no.

My brother plays guitar connected to the computer sometimes, and I made a project template in REAPER with Amplitube opened with a preset he likes and the track already armed for him. I then set the project template as default, so all it takes for him to start playing is opening REAPER. Maybe something like that would work for you.
