Oh, sorry mate, I misread you. Yeah, definitely the trend is to use your DAW's integrated sampler, and that means there are very few third part options. Even the pricy ones like Nuance can't compete with the integrated ones. CR8 looks very nice but that RAM... I've spent hours the last few months trying to find alternatives without switching DAWs.

Yeah, the 300-400 USD Behringer, or indeed The Legend, will do. 5.000 for a box with ancient electronic components won’t do at all lol

Yes, I use it and actually like it but a sampler with no time stretching can’t be considered “one of the best” (I was replying to the comment before mine, which claimed it was). Presonus told me they would fix it in one of the next updates...

Sample One XT is one of the WORST integrated samplers. It's very basic compared to the ones in Live, Reason, Digital Performer, Cubase's sampler track, all of which can do much more... and it's bugged since years and Presonus refuses to fix it: https://forums.presonus.com/viewtopic.php?t=30930&p=281241

I use a ton of samplers with different one shots (Kontakt). I just would like something with a nicer interface. I’m trying Reason+ right now and Mimic is pretty nice.

(Vst3). I upgraded to the latest AT version but no luck. Any workaround? Edit: I cancelled the scan and opened the plugin manager to re-scan but it says that scan is already running...

CS version is pretty generous! Those 10 amps are essentials that every studio owner would dream to have.

You can usually find this on kvr for cheaper. I don’t know about the other ones but this one sounds pretty nice compared to MAutoPitch and ReaTune.

If you use REAPER, there's also RCInflator 2 (get it from ReaPack). You could use a JSFX wrapper to use it in other DAWs.

Testing it now with pads and bass synth. AMAZING analog flavor, vibey goodness, electric juiciness, spring-time lower body fatness an all the adjectives in the world cannot describe how this thing sounds. I recommend it.
