    I thought about posting it before for you guys. It's a really cool theme. The transport can be put on the top if you want to. REAPER is quite amazing when you find a theme you like and you've customized the keyboard shortcuts to your liking. Beyond that, you can create macros (series of 'actions' in one key command) to suit your workflow, toolbars to organize them... It's not for everyone but its power, stability, flexibility and CPU usage are UNBEATABLE.

    I also use Reaper mostly but I’m trying to move to Cakewalk for orchestral stuff. Such a nice DAW for free!

    I’m on 11 Intro myself. I’ll consider upgrading on December if there’s a good deal and they add some DAW features. They confirmed that VST3 is coming this year, along with the parts of the sequencer that haven’t gotten hires treatment. Combinator does look amazing though!

    Pretty useful if you have a lousy sounding room and if you have one of the supported headphone models. It includes correction curves made specifically for the headphones model, which is the reason I started using it. It makes it easy to identify problems in the mix. It's not supposed to make it sound better and you should always remember to bypass the plugin when you're exporting your mix.

    I'm actually mostly using REAPER nowadays but it does look better there IMO. I'd just gotten used to tap to find the perfect tempo and that could mean trying different times.
