I don't have a paid license, but I used the extended demo they offered at some point. I'm happy with the new Affinity myself, it's running smoothly in my humble machine. I just went there to see what people thought. Not a lot of positive vibes, but hey, it's Reddit.

People are NOT talking this well on the subreddit. Everybody just assumes that the "free forever" statement (mentioned four times in the release video, btw) is just temporary. We've all been burned too many times to trust any company now.

Agree with your assessment. TB eq's have weird phase response in the high frequencies. It looks like it has a very steep low pass filter at nyquist or something. Kirchoof sounds better, but GUI is kind of meh. Can't have it all, it seems.

Yeah, I get the same impression with REAPER devs, who don't use MIDI themselves... (Justin just records audio).

these are for their player plugin, which is separate from the "main" BFD 3 plugin.

Had some back and forth with the dev. He got very offended because I said lack of presets makes it useless. I apologized and explained why they matter and he seemed open to the idea afterwards. He doesn't seem to be very experienced in production in general.

yeah, only comes with the orchestra mode. The paid version has two extra modes.

I have it and like it. The amount of patches it has makes it confusing to use. Stick to the TVEC 4 and TVEC 3 patches for the best quality. Also, they're very dry, so you'll need to create your own "soundstage" using reverbs and whatnot.

The timing of this is so precise that I attribute it to Divine Providence. I'm thankful.

I had to update UA Connect before downloading the amp for it to work, btw.

This one is very nice. It's a delay and a very nice spring reverb and saturation.

I got Phil's C. Playing with it now on a bass synth. Great for subtle to mid saturation!

I got this but never used it. Is it actually useful or just a gimmick?

The dev says the impulses were capture by them, IIRC. This is becoming my go to verb for slapping into whatever channel I'm currently working on. I wish it had timing controls, but it's kinda nice not having to think about it.

I believe you need to purchase it first (it's not added to T-Racks MAX), otherwise you'll be just installing a demo. At least that's how it has been until now. EDIT: WRONG!: "Free for registered owners of T-RackS 6 MAX or Total Studio 5 MAX via the IK Product Manager."
