  1. couldn't pass up! Didn't get the license right away though.
  2. is it any good? I remember people not liking a previous eq of them.
  3. Very generous! Jus got it, thanks Merry Christmas
  4. Young people are not "defined" by music in the same way previous generations were. There's less kids learning to play instruments, basically no new bands being formed, less people buying gear, etc.
  5. As music becomes less culturally relevant (young people barely listen to it) we will see a lot more of this.
  6. Is there an SE version that you can get to use your already owned plugins with?
  7. Yeah, I figured about the knobs. But if someone is going to do it, it should be them.
  8. I really hope they translated their Tonex tech to T-Racks. It would be so cool to have low CPU, low latency AI/ML captures of classic hardware. Acústica Audio is great, but tracking with them is a no no.
  9. Yeah, I mean manually copying the draw bar and control settings from v1 to v2.
  10. Thanks! Non german link: https://www.uaudio.com/free-century-tube-plugin
  11. Sampled synths are not everyone's cup of tea, but these are remarkable.
  12. More feature rich than their already free Lite edition. Courtesy of BEAT mag (no need to buy the mag): https://zamplersounds.sellfy.store/p/apsonic-labs-speedrum-be/
  13. Different tools. This one reduces what it deems to be "inharmonic" content, not related to the fundamental. Reso identifies based on resonance, not frequency.
  14. PSP has some nice discounts! Saturator for $29. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/manufacturer/PSP_Audioware
  15. Got Elysia Karacter two minutes before the sale ended. Didn't even realized it until I added it to the cart! They should have a timer on the top of all pages. I was about to go to bed thinking "I'll buy it in the morning" lol
  16. Also available for Bitwig users (in the user area). I didn't receive any email about it, just logged in and found them there.
  17. 50gb of free samples is crazy lol. Luckily you can download a la carte.
  18. In tonenet: find guys who have lots of captures of different amps. They're usually studio owners or engineers who know how to mic an amp. People with 4 captures, 3 of which are a behringer pedal, are not the best bet. Amp only (no cab) and pedal captures also sound great 90% of the time because they're easier to make, so if you find a few cabs that you like or use your own ir , you'll be getting a better sound than most amp sims out there.
  19. Tonex SE is all you need. The user captures (tone.net) are really good (some of them) and you can buy third party stuff. I got it for $35 or so using jam points,
  20. I second the EVO 4. The guitar input has a JFET that adds a tiny bit of saturation. I'm not into modular, but people say Softube Modular is king in terms of raw sound quality. Regarding effects, I've never worked with hardware, but I've been listening to a lot of plugin/hardware shootouts and blind tests and the hardware tends to win all the time. Except for Acustica Audio plugins, which gets extremely close. Some other developers (UAD, Pulsar) also get close. This video might be of help:
