  1. I have the M4 set to 128. I like 96, but the M4 doesn't have that option in ASIO mode. Forgot that.
  2. My DAW is hardwired to the LAN so Airplane mode isn't available. I use wifi on my laptop, but don't record on it. I practice on it and play around but have a quad capture on it.
  3. I get the occasional pop, but that's because I'm running on windows and it has background processes running. When I record I disable the network adapter and haven't had any problems. I normally have the IF set at 44 and a buffer size of 96. The M4 works fine into a USB 3 port on an ASUS MB.
  4. I use the M4 with my DAW and haven't had any problems with it.
  5. It sounds like AD2 is set to play an internal pattern.
  6. I still have a Sustainor and equalizer, I'll have to see if they still work. My ADA MP 1 has started to die. I need to take it in for repairs ...
  7. I think it can be confusing. The patch numbers are listed as 1-128, but MIDI is Musical Instrument Digital Interface (IIRC). It's a digital bus and the program change message has two bytes, status and data. The data has the program number and the values are specified as 0-127 in a MIDI program change message. So, yeah, it's technical. Along the same lines MIDI channels are displayed as 1-16, but in the status byte they are represented as 0-15.
  8. For near freebies, many lite versions that came with Cakewalk over the years. I bought the nomad factory plugins, I upgraded TH-2 and went to TH-3 and TH-U, I upgraded breverb and rematrix. I've upgraded melodyne. Some HW I bought came with ableton live lite and I upgraded that and it's current.
  9. Have you looked under instruments? Depending on your layout, on the far right select the Plugins tab and below the Plugins tab select Instruments and mine is under Uncategorized. I don't use Biab as a plugin, but thought I'd check it out...
  10. Have you tried the To Main button? If you listen on headphones to something you recorded and you press the To Main button can you hear it without the button pressed? If so try recording without To Main.
  11. For the most part I use it to create backing tracks to practice and occasionally to try out chord progressions. I like the standalone DAW button that shrinks the UI down, I drag and drop the parts I want into CbB.
  12. That was too good to pass up. One more buy this year, but it was the Ultimate!
  13. Are you asking why 6 and not a 3 dB gain? Is it 6 dB because it's two stereo tracks?
  14. The place to start is windows -> start -> settings -> apps & features. Select the plugin and uninstall. If there are still more then windows -> start and look through the list of apps for the developer's name or plugin name and see if there is an uninstall there. After that it's more troublesome.
  15. 2445 has just been updated. NEW: - Apple Silicon native support - graphic engine with zooming - presets explorer system - presets from Andi Vax, Miroslav Pajic and Sebastian Imbierowicz Spring Box as well, same as above.
  16. Must be for Metal heads...
  17. It's not unusual for synths to be able to set velocity curves. This maps velocities. Check the documentation and see if the synths have this function and if they do make sure they are the same.
  18. If you consider BF started early - gig performer 4, bx_console SSL 4000 G, Fuchs Overdrive Supreme 50 Plugin, and DSM V3, eventide shimmerverb. Not on sale, but I got a new set of tubes for a prs se 20.
  19. Again, what is the device? Does it have a name? A brand? How can we help if we don't know what it is?
  20. I don't know the answer, but based on the above I would try an uninstall from Start -> Settings -> Apps & features and see if that works.
  21. Line level is generally +4 db. You need to look at the specs for the pedal. For the DD-200. https://www.boss.info/us/products/dd-200/specifications/ Look at the input and output levels. Nominal Input Level INPUT A/MONO, B: -10 dBu Maximum Input Level INPUT A/MONO, B: +7 dBu Input Impedance INPUT A/MONO, B: 2 M ohm Nominal Output Level OUTPUT A/MONO, B: -10 dBu Maximum Output Level OUTPUT A/MONO, B: +7 dBu Output Impedance OUTPUT A/MONO, B: 1 k ohms Recommended Load Impedance OUTPUT A/MONO, B: 10 k ohms or greater Input is -10 to +7 dBu and +4 is between them so it'll take line level inputs. Also notice that input impedance is 2 M ohm. For guitar you want 1 M ohm or higher. If your audio IF's input impedance is less than 1 M ohm you should try using the dd-200 as a DI. HTH.
