  1. That’s how I understand it, but haven’t checked yet. In EZK2, midi files follow instruments. Or, to put it differently, EZK2 instruments should come with their own midi files. Other question: what about the original EZK midi files? It seems they’re still available in your account to add to EZK2.
  2. I very much like the Claire Alto flute. (And I’m a flute player)
  3. Got my second one now. Why? Donno.
  4. They’re not as straightforward as you’d get them from Spitfire or Orchestral Tools, but they’re much cheaper of course. I compare them to what Osterhouse does, but not as good.
  5. Didn’t like those Clarinet Textures that much, though, but the cello and the violin are quite nice.
  6. Yeah, still fond of the layered pads in Xpand!2 and the electric keys of Velvet 2. Plus a few others, but sadly not all compatible with Apple Silicon.
  7. Yeah Don’t know why I got them twice back then. Still love some of them though. And I don’t mind iLok.
  8. True. I asked them about it. They basically replied that was then and this is now.
  9. Just try their latest, the Twin3 subtractive synth. Dangerously close to hardware.
  10. But they are soooooooooo good. (Got the Total Bundle, I’m an FF addict)
  11. Loooooooove these strings
  12. I actually have a number of unregistered serials (doubles) left going for pretty little: VIP3 serial, Hybrid3 serial, Xpand!2 serial, Vacuum Pro serial, Strike serial, Structure serial , Velvet2 serial AIEP3 Select bundle serial (DB-33, Mini Grand, Hybrid 3 , Loom, Strike 2, Structure 2, Transfuser 2, Velvet 2, Vacuum Pro & Fresh AIR Pack, theRiser & Flux Transitions)
  13. Then you better try Friktion (and Objekt).
  14. Still have an Xpand!2 serial lying around if anyone wants to get in on this upgrade to the collection.
  15. Love that one from UVI. Undoubtedly one of their very best libraries.
  16. Still a pretty interesting collection, and you only need one AIR instrument to get the complete upgrade. At least three of four are pretty pretty good.
  17. Very good review here. Did it for me: https://cdm.link/2023/05/reason-studios-objekt-review/
  18. Revised opinion. This is pretty pretty good. Just try it out for drums. Wonderful addition to the physical modeling world.
  19. Still some of my absolute faves on Kontakt Player, Exhale up front, but also those FX, Portal and Thermal in particular.
  20. Thanks. Windows only it seems.
  21. Indeed. Didn’t know they were Apple Silicon compatible yet, but they are!
  22. And then there’s the Salu series.
  23. Haven’t tried it yet but the thing that got me is that it has algorithmic, convolution and granular reverbs, delays, chorus, EQ and saturation as a handy multi-effect box. But I’m sure you can use the separated you already have.
