  1. Around Christmas I dug out my old trains from when I was a kid. First time I had even looked at them in over 35 years maybe more. There was an old Lionel that I don't even remember in the the box but one piece of track was missing so I couldn't complete a simple circle to test it. On the back of each piece of track it had a price tag of .97 cents. So I throw on my mask and go to a local hobby store to pick up a piece of 0 scale track. $6 bucks each. I couldn't believe it. Looking online it's going for $5 each. $40 for a single switch track. Then I went down the rabbit hole of looking at new Lionel trains. $80 and more a boxcar. Hundreds up to thousands for an engine. Seems the best deal is to buy a set that comes with an engine, a few boxcars, and a simple oval of track. The sets start at $300 so I imagine they are lacking in quality and/or detail. My dad and I had a big very detailed layout when I was a kid and we were poor. I mean poor. It would cost thousands now to have a layout like I did when I was a kid. What's odd is, most of this stuff doesn't seem to keep it's value. My Lionel engine is from the late 60's and it's going for $20 bucks on eBay. I don't see how they are getting these prices now.
  2. Can we count Revolution #9 as a song? My favorite Macca songs are Mull Of Kintyre (Reminds me of Cobwebs and Dust by G. Lightfoot. Even the same key.) and Let Me Roll It.
  3. Wha?! I can't give myself a thumbs up on my own post, I can't post bikini pics. What kind of forum is this. Sheesh.
  4. In my own defense, I have lost a lot more weight since that pic was taken. ? About 4 days after that pic was taken in may of 2018 I got hit by a schoolbus that ran a stop sign doing 40MPH. Totaled my (er, uh, my wife's) brand new truck and almost killed me. Good times. Good times.
  5. Well it's a good thing I never say anything stoopid.
  6. Same here. I haven't touched my DAW in almost 3 years. I just had major surgery in October plus I've been stuck in the house for a year now like everyone else so I'm getting back in to it while I'm down. I'm still running Studio One Pro 3 but I'm going to join the Sphere bandwagon. Once spring rolls around I'll be able to get out and do things again so the Sphere subscription works great for me. I recently got high speed internet out here in the country so a whole new world of options have opened up in regard to what I can download/Sphere. I tried CbB a few times and it's working like a charm. After all these years I still prefer using it over S1 or anything else. It's like visiting an old friend. But Sphere offers so much for $15 bucks. I recently bought BiaB and on their forum they are suggesting people get CbB just so they can use TTS-1 with BiaB. You can also use BiaB directly in any DAW too so it's a great combo with CbB. I'll check out your music. I've always liked everything you guys put out. Sorry to see Beyond My DAW is gone. When I pulled my DAW/PC out of storage and set it up it was the first site I went to. The site never did work on my cell so I never checked it on it.
  7. I tried to attach it in my signature but I can't seem to find a free pic hosting service that doesn't put a big giant watermark over your pic. Actually though, my real pic is more scary than Bub. ? Good to see you btw.
  8. Honey I'm home! Well, actually I've been stuck home since Feb. 2020 like everyone else, with my wife who is working from home. Hence the boredom, forum surfing, getting back in to recording, trying to avoid searching for how to tie nooses for home use. That kind of thing. I hope everyone is doing well and getting by in these odd viral times. I'm fortunate in that not much has changed except my wife is working from home now which I'm getting used to. I'll miss her when she finally has to go back to the office. Steve, Bapu, Craigb, (anyone) fill me in on what I missed will ya. I'll go make some popcorn.
  9. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse yesterday . . .
  10. ? *Waving 'Hi!'* ? *Smiling* ? *Waving 'Goodbye'*
  11. Sorry it took so long to reply. Been busy. I contacted tech support and said I wasn't sure if I was eligible to be upgraded at no charge. They said I was and gave me a serial for O9A. There is no new version of N3A like I originally though but it all worked out. Thanks.
  12. They just had a sale and I bought the O8A and N3A bundle. People asked on their Facebook ad for the sale if the reason for the sale was if a new version was coming out. Their official answer was no, no new version coming out. A couple weeks later . . . O9A drops. This is the first time I've owned an Izotope product. I bought the full version. Now a couple weeks later I'm being told I have to pay to upgrade to the next version after I was told there was no new version coming out. I'm assuming updates (bug fixes etc. etc.) to O8A and N3A will stop now? People specifically asked if this was going to happen and Izotope said "No". People asked because they understand it's not really a sale if you have to pay the amount you saved for the upgrade. A couple months from now and this happened, it would suck but I get it. A couple weeks, that's not right imo.
