    AAS Upgrade

If you own any AAS instruments it might be worthwhile checking your account for discounts. I've just upgraded to Ultra Analog VA-3 with the Kicks and Snares pack for $39 ($40 saving on the normal upgrade price). No email received but I was just going through my account to see about purchasing the new pack. That's me got everything they produce once again!
  5. Makes a pleasant change to get a half decent deal in the UK!
  6. Very interesting - looks like it might be expensive though.
  7. I’ve just received an email stating that BFD has been acquired by InMusic. “We’re excited to announce that BFD has been acquired by inMusic, a global leader in music production hardware, software and consumer electronics. Together with inMusic, the core BFD development team will continue to develop our flagship products. They’re looking forward to this next phase and the opportunities to make BFD even better. Whether you’re a new customer or have been with us since BFD1, we’re deeply grateful for your support and encouragement. It’s been 17 years since we released the first BFD engine, which has been recognised globally as a revolutionary acoustic drum instrument. We’re very excited to see what the future holds with BFD joining the inMusic family.” Anyone with thoughts?
  8. Been looking forward to this for some time!
  9. ZincT - The .labx file imported perfectly. I suspected that I might need the full V Collection but I’m a long way from upgrading at the moment.
  10. Running AL4 just now and wondering how you import into the individual instruments. Do you need to have purchased the full V Collection? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  15. Managed to miss the MODO Bass deal. Just need to wait until next time or get ez-bass when/if it arrives.
  16. Further update: Went back to SampleTank 4.0.7 which I was using when I created my projects and that seems to have rectified the issue. Hopefully IK will get things sorted out for future releases!
  17. I've updated both Bandlab (Feb 2020) and SampleTank 4 (4.0.9) to the latest versions. Both VST and VST3 versions of Sampletank are crashing after about 2 minutes of use. Anyone else having this issue? I'm going to have to revisit a project (of several songs) I started back in November 2019 which uses SampleTank a lot and don't want to be held up with it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Update - I reinstalled SampleTank 4.0.8 and find that the VST3 crashes immediately but the VST2 seems OK. Still gives me the problem of opening the projects (a lot) using VST3 instances.
  18. I see that Waves have moved over to a subscription plan for their Silver, Gold and Platinum bundles. https://www.waves.com/subscriptions
  19. Thanks Scook - that all looks familiar!
  20. This is going to be a question which was resolved a while back in the old Cakewalk forum but I can't find it. I have a folder on my main "C" drive which I want to move to another drive and then point to it from the original "C" drive folder, fooling Windows into thinking it's in the original location. I know it can be done because I did it before on my old computer - but I didn't hold on to the instructions. I think it was called branching but could be wrong. Can anybody out there help?
