  1. Hi@Anthony Bennett - thanks for sharing Agreed with that!
  2. Bandmate was also asking if there could be an option for a pop up reminder rather than automatically saving. His logic was again around sometimes being in the swing of things and not wanting the immediate disruption.
  3. Hi friends - my suggestion would be some improved logic around the autosave functionality. I'm unsure if the functionality of this is fairly basic, i.e. "count down from seconds and save regardless of what is happening" or if there are just bugs/workflows that it doesn't cater for. A few things I've noticed are: Autosave causing crashes (think this has been resolved in a recent build but not 100% - including as relevant example) Autosave happening whilst project is playing - reducing performance and possibly a risky thing to do Autosave happening whilst in the middle of user operations such as drags/copies/highlighting midi notes/deletes - one of my bandmates specifically asked me to bring this up as it regularly disrupts his workflow - at best it's confusing and at worst he's lost changes and had to undo work due to it not being clear what had happened or the wrong thing happening. Autosave occuring immediately after a regular save - not a critical issue but would be better to factor in user saves and reset the timer once these are done. This allows the user to avoid being disrupted twice. We all know how important creative flow is and sometimes an idea can disappear, especially if saving a bigger project. I'm sure there will be other things I've missed. To my mind the really simple logic should be, "have X seconds elapsed since last save - manual or automatic and is any other task going on? If yes and no respectively proceed with autosave, if not, wait till condition is met". Putting this in the minor impact category, but it's one of those that over the years has just begin to get more and more bothersome, and my bandmate specifically asked that I raise it if I haven't already
  4. Good idea Colin Seems like the development time on this would be very low (as it's just displaying a value that's already known) and therefore would have a disproportionately high benefit to cost ratio in reducing mean time to understanding of performance issues.
  5. Thank you so much all! Really appreciate you listening and your kind words
  6. Hey friends! ❤️ Delighted to share our brand new Disconnected Souls track! Featuring a fabulous guest vocalist Little less out there musically compared to some of other offerings, but still a few fun twists and turn whilst hopefully being catchy and anthemic. If you get chance to listen then I hope you enjoy!
  7. Love the laid back vibes of this! Great work my friend
  8. Thank you for sharing! I really like this
  9. Haunting - thank you for sharing
  10. Thanks @treesha- the variety is the most important thing to me! The Disconnected Souls album really embodies this. Glad to hear you like Dissonant Whispers! That was one of the ones I took on more of a lead on and we learned a lot about orchestration during it that I'm looking forward to applying to other tracks in future. Yeah I see what you mean about the vocals in Monachopsis - I do think this one ended up feeling a bit rushed towards the end of recording/mixing everything else. Backing vocals/harmonies are absolutely another priority focus for the future! Really appreciate your kind words and support. ~Fletch~
  11. Thank you kindly Steve! It's interesting because I feel like the overall mix on Saints is better (and we're working with a higher tier engineer) but having said that it's the first track of that project and sometimes you have to do a few to really get the process and overall sound sorted. I really appreciate the feedback from everyone, which I will take onboard. though and I'm super glad you and others like the other project tracks. Given you enjoyed the other projects here's a few others! (Sorry for spam and no need to listen at all) In Sϕnder has two other releases and we'll hopefully have an EP out by end of year. Those are: DS has three other released vids and another one out next week which I can't wait to share! Busy busy busy! Have a great day all! ~Fletch~
  12. Hi Nigel, Thanks very much for the kind words! That's a useful observation - one of the things I wanted in this project was for the bass to stand out a bit more as it's own instrument then just blending with the guitar, but perhaps we need to go further. Some of the upcoming tracks I have sent back mix notes on about this, so it is definitely something on my mind! Hopefully you'll feel the next ones get the balance right Best wishes, ~Fletch~
  13. Cool track - thanks for sharing! Agree with the comment about panning of the guitar, but other than that feels quite well balanced
  14. I love the vibe of this track! Very fun The organ is my favourite part! Thanks for sharing
  15. Love the atmospherics! This is really cool The synth tone at 0:25 is a favourite. Thanks for sharing Wookiee!
  16. This is really pretty! Thanks for sharing
  17. Thanks treesha! Really appreciate it We were trying to strike a balance with the mix - we're a bunch of goths so there was inevitably going to be a bit of a melancholy vibe but we also wanted to make it a bit more accessible / poppy too. With respect to the heavier stuff - I have two other projects. Disconnected Souls is cinematic metal; it does get intense in parts but a lot of it is about conjuring up big atmospheres. In Sϕnder is cyber/electronic metal, designed to be a lot more energetic in general with big synth sounds There are four more tracks coming for Spectral, two of them being a bit more heavier in nature too! Again thanks for your time and interest!
  18. Hi Wookiee - thanks for the feedback I'm not so sure - I don't have great ears for this sort of thing! He certainly was keen to not overdo this when we were discussing things during the preliminary stages, so I'm hoping he stuck to the original plan.
  19. Hi friends - hope you're well. Me again with another new musical project. This one is a lot less heavy and more atmospheric. We worked with a really top engineer on it and I'm so proud of how it turned out If you get chance to listen then I'm so super grateful ❤️ Wishing you a wonderful day! 20. Just wanted to highlight that I've also experienced the UI freeze issues and had raised this elsewhere. I've not seen this happen in a week or two though now fortunately. Can't say for definite what fixed it as I did a big tidy up of my machine, and have changed multiple things, but I think it's mostly likely to be that I reverted to the previous Nvidia gaming driver.
  21. I have recently had a crash whilst working on automation with Serum - but it's not been reproducible to the point that I've raised a case with Sonar/Xfer yet. I also can't recall it generating a plugin crash, so something else might have been going on in Sonar at the time. If you have a project that you believe has had the issue I'll happily try and test further.
  22. I've used divisimate in the past, yes. I don't remember getting a huge amount of hanging notes - or at least not any more than usual!
  23. @David Baay/ @Glenn Stanton/ anyone else - would you mind if I sent you a test file to see if you can replicate my findings?
