  1. Fallout 76 and Hitman 3 take up most of my time. I also prefer older games going nack to the XP era. You can play Half Life 2 and Stalker with the endless amount of mods. Many modern developers bloat system requirements.
  2. I archive my downloads. If I had to reinstall Sampletank and Syntron Max my ISP would give a too much data warning.
  3. The Drumsynth is the only one that isn't meh. It's not one of those old AIR products. I have it but avoid if you are anti iLok.
  4. I've stopped downloading free games. It's as bad as my plugin collection. I don't even want to ponder how many games I have that haven't been played.
  5. So if you want a synth sounds that sounds like a synth voice and not a real one.
  6. That was me around 2004 when there was Gigastudio, Kontakt, VSampler, Reason's NNXT.
  7. I also check KVR and VI-Control. Then there's the emails from developers who give you personal discounts. Pro Tools Expert mails deals about products. Plus there are 2 I check for other software. Then it gets worse with Steam and Epic games. Then having a sub from Groove 3 and MPV I'm checking deals on Udemy. Plus there's the emails from loop makers. Live and Image Line forums are usually not as toxic for GAS. Users there actually talk about real DAW stuff. I've turned a blind eye to the deals from NI, Izotope, and PA.
  8. Yes I remember my last Acid Pro upgrade was $20. Maybe they made a mistake in their pricing on this and still honored the purchases.
  9. I tend to dislike NI's distribution of their own libraries. When you buy from other developers you can archive your downloads if need to reinstall them. If it's a Komplete library you need to back them up on another drive. There is no option to keep your downloads. This can be issue if you had a drive go bad and have to download all of the libraries in Komplete. You can get a warning from your ISP of using up your data limit.
  10. Oops will not open in Kontakt 6, Shows up in K7.
  11. So Sono fanboys if you could only own one library which would it be?
  12. Definitely not. I've been there before and it appears different. Hijacked? Even the math is wrong on that product.
  13. Installed - not showing up in Kontakt yet.
  14. Also requires Kontatk 7 player. I prefer the opinions here since not every one is attracted to shiny and new.
  15. Your opinion probably wont change. Some of them need an 88 key controller for the key switches if you don't want to pencil them in. They are similar to using loops except now you can drop the midi in a track. Also there is a small learning curve using a GUI like this.
  16. So who has it? Sometimes these type of libraries bring surge of giddiness and eventually get little use.
  17. Only if they fixed the low register samples which sound like an oboe. That range is never used in orchestra but solo literature will use the lower range.
  18. Flute is the most annoying to record. Look at available mics just for flute and they are not designed by flute players. I seen a flute that when into the headjoint which means removing the cap an cork.
  19. Until some stuffed shirts decide to buy them out. Always a fear now in the DAW world.
  20. Back on topic. I always blow off installing those Magix Music Makers but that video makes it look underrated for something to mess around. Also when you download and install it's the free version until you find that place to enter the serial.
  21. Samplitude Pro Suite upgrade is even better. https://www.magix.com/us/music-editing/samplitude/suite/?afsrc=1&CJEVENT=a5aaafdddad811ea812c01870a1c0e13
