  1. They added some new libraries made by Spitfire. That's kinda tempting to go with the Suite again but Sampler is annoying when one is use to Kontakt.
  2. Just realized their presets are on sale.
  3. This is one of the most underrated libraries out there. Thanks for making this video.
  4. Use the Kilohearts installer if you have an account. You also get $30 to spend. I'm not sure what effect to get to compliment it. I have all of the free ones.
  5. I subscribed to his channel. It's interesting to see someone using Bandlab for dance genres.
  6. Nope. The Suite is discontinued. You will still have your Suite REs.
  7. I managed to get it right at the $200 mark. Studio Series Fire Trombone Studio Suspended Non-Tonal Studio Suspended Tonal Symphonic Shadows Clocks
  8. Surprised that my other DAWs had updates before Cubase. I don't care how it's much better for midi but I'm not a fan of Cubase. Their hub is annoying. Two clicks to exit the program. Click on Reaper or FL Studio and you are ready to begin.
  9. So far they have yet to make it simple to put RE content on a separate drive and that's gonna be a lot of bloat on the OS drive. This is another DAW I rarely use but for some illogical reason I've had a license since 4.
  10. At one time non stick coatings killed pet birds. We grew up with iron skillets. In some areas people use electric stoves and the higher end stoves don't allow for iron skillets.
  11. I never buy solo string libraries because to make them really work you need to have a good understanding of how the instrument work. The are far more articulations for strings than winds. From tutorials I've seen stuff like Fabfilter, Izotope is used to polish up. I think that Spitfire BBC Discover demonstrates that size does not always equal quality. It sounds great for a 300mb library.
  12. That was/is a bad habit for me. I'm now turned off by bloat. I avoid them if there are no midis. I had over 100GB from one producer. I started to delete all of the wav files, kept the mix files, but converted those to mp3 just in case I wanted to duplicate it.
  13. I came from a generation that was exposed to more germs. I never buy antibacterial products either.
  14. I wouldn't like wearing a mask in a gym. At one time many gyms were not affordable.
  15. https://alltimelists.com/29-things-to-stop-buying-in-2021/?view-all&fbclid=IwAR0c27tr0jS6-z54PZs11slvuRO1k1pked8-7279iQhrZrpDKCDysZRs5UI Not DAW related but there are probably 21 things to stop buying in the DAW world. 1. EQs - I've seen known producers who do tutorials and more often they are using built in EQs. 2. Orchestra libraries - if you do this as a hobby like who cares what sounds you use?
  16. Some of us have paid for a Wusikstation 10 upgrade that we may never see. I'm sure that was part of the harassment he has gotten.
  17. I decided to use my rewards and get Serum. Usually with the PB freebies I prefer to buy something I will actually use.
  18. I always look for a "doubting Thonas" in any deals thread.
  19. They are a money pit with their frequent paid upgrades. You also pay more if you skip a version.
  20. The download came with an authorization key. Strange that opening this synth it did not ask for it.
  21. I think for me that worked maybe once of twice. It's almost useless.
  22. I would never buy something that has a micro USB port.
  23. It's there in your account. You have to really big for it.
