I was wondering if someone was going to comment after the after the only one post shills. Not the best marketing BTW, Sub only is probably a greater death than when Gibson stopped development. I would imagine most of the subscribers are not western based. I'm wondering when the other guitar company is going to erode the popularity of another DAW. Meanwhile another company uses their licensing as a marketing tool and it seems to work.

Arturia Winter Sale - 50% off individual software & sounds

If you have Analog Pro you get some free presets to sample. -
https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/asrock-issues-bios-update-to-address-ryzen-9-9800x3d-failures-warns-of-misinformation-about-failures Yikes. I have an older AsRock board for my Intel system. It seems every manufacturer has a go around with quality issues. I've always used Asus and Gigabyte as well. There was another article that a fix was revert to a previous BIOS. Anytime there was a BIOS update on a board I read what it is and if it doesn't affect me then I pass. I'm less confident these days in upgrading hardware. Since I spend more time buying software instead of actually using it I don't need a powerful system.

HP ditches 15-minute wait time policy due to 'feedback'

https://www.theregister.com/2025/02/21/hp_ditches_15_minute_wait_time_call_centers/?td=rt-3a too much sheet these days when looking at spreadsheets This is just one of the few things HP has done to not win any popularity contests. -
The whole point of free stuff seems to buy into an eco system. Many of them often require iLok. I bought my first iLok when Line 6 offered Amp Farm free. I don't install the free Waves anymore.

I've stopped installing anything UAD since you have no control over their app. Sure you could delete it and still install their stuff. Their connect app has no options and starts up with Windows. BTW it is a complaint among users. I prefer not to deal with them. There's no shortage of 1176 emulations.

no machine limit either
-
it seems others are having issues even at correct resolution display is too large, task bar and vertical height are too large
-
That isn't really any different than realizing what is in a DAW is quite adequate.

I appreciate both links since you can hear the demos at TT

I have 3 iLoks and they don't ever move. As for flash drives I lose track of them. I do use their cloud on certain VSL libraries. As for PA they allow 3 installations. Not sure why anyone would think the "improvadongle" is a benefit with PA. 3 iLok authorizations are becoming more common. If Waves was like Melda with no machine limit I'd be happy to pay for WUP. They still have the worse licensing in the industry. They probably haven't recovered from the boneheaded move of a forced sub. They lead the league in race down to zero with their crap licensing. I doubt I'd ever buy Waves again. Their entry level bundles are hard to beat. I guess you can get away with that kind of licensing when you develop great stuff. They have to do their sales because there are smaller developers out there making great products.

I also got a $50 voucher. Some of those presets are pricey.

so did I get a rompler or sampler? Can I import a wav file?

factory

I accidentally did too many clicks with Amazon pay. Now it's on one system and soon to be on the other 2. I guess there's no turning back now.

I thought it was a 3 usually FL will crackle after that. I wonder if he would give out the flp and see if it happens to other users.

How are the standard expansions that come with it? From what I understand those are the better ones.

I think the highest I seen was 39,

I'm gonna pass. (4 now) PRESETS4LIFE is where I'm at on everything. Meanwhile I'd probably spend close to that amount on another not needed orchestra type library. No Pay Pal.............saying no just got slightly easier.

Most of Waves is finished. It's solid software only needing a paint job on older stuff. Their development and business model are complete opposites. Maybe that's why they have WUP. I'd bet some of the plugins bought years ago still work fine.
