Ron Kuper used to brag that the DX format supported all that stuff years before as well. I'm worried that CLAP is going to turn into just another format that more people have to support. AAX and AU aren't going away, and I doubt VST will. CLAP is going to have to be so much better to even make a dent.

Hopefully getting the compatibility stuff out of the way means they can get to working on new components.

$49 for Absynth would be a no brainer for me if I didn't already have it.

If they hold to their past release patterns Komplete 14 is coming out in September/October. Of course with the mergers that may not be a given.
