  1. Hi Noy, It could be but I'm thinking it is more likely system related. Something on your setup may interfere with Cakewalk. Right now you Noel offering to help and if I were you I would let him find the problem. No one knows Cakewalk better or can find a cause for a problem quicker.
  2. Don't do anything else to your C:\ drive. You may need to take it to a restorer services. They can, under the right conditions, find all your deleted files .
  3. Chuck has one heck of a good memory and is downright helpful. One of the best mods on the this forum!
  4. Interesting! I can't say I have heard of that bug before. It really shouldn't matter which synth is unfrozen, it should still restore the correct one. Has this happened before in others projects?
  5. Although Pentagon was a great synth in its day now there a million and 1 VSTi analog sounding synths that are far and away better.
  6. You may need to do a search using Windows Explorer. You may need only one file name to find all of them. Once you find the files then you can point the project to where they reside. I hope you are using the latest Win 10 version!
  7. What we want to know is what is it you are recording? That is, is it audio or MIDI? Also what track or view do you want to see while recording.
  8. Try using the Synth Rack. I'm not a fan of instrument tracks. I like my MIDI independent and separate.
  9. And thank you for letting us know what you are doing. Very interesting.
  10. How are you recording? What are you recording? My first thought is thats easy but after reading your post I'm not sure. Hence the questions.
  11. No need to apologize. You are giving the best information you have. It is what any of us do our best to do.
  12. Sorry but I do have wi-fi as well as bluetooth both on and operating. I can't see a problem with them. I believe if you have an up to date motherboard and CPU one shouldn't have any problems with them.
  13. If you have a relatively up to date machine with a recent CPU, really all one needs to do is set the windows power options to performance especially on a desktop machine.
  14. I agree with using winRar Chuck. Heck I was thinking he may want to use zip because its built into windows. Rar is a better choice though. I bought the program because I use so much.
  15. You don't have to do that. As I said use per-project folders in preferences and save the folder. This will save the project plus the audio and any other files Cakewalk creates. In your case its a simple copy to the cloud.
  16. It sounds as if you just copied the projects to the cloud. You may need to copy the entire directory to the cloud. This would include the audio folder as well as the project. This is if you are using per project folders.
  17. I don't think you need any tutorials on it at all. That track is outstanding. If that is you singing, what a great voice. I wouldn't do a thing to any of it. This should be in the songs forum.
  18. No. I left it on my drive because I didn't want to have to reinstall any of the plugins. I would not do that now though because one can install the plugins without having to install the program.
  19. I am still unsure of a cause. Thank you for your added information. Are there any error messages? And is it that things just stop?
  20. Some system specs would be very helpful. How much memory do you have? What OS are you using? Which version of Cakewalk? Any other system specs may also help.
  21. Not really. I no longer use Sonar. I prefer Cakewalk!
