I was wondering about this too. Anyone?
-
I don’t think it was presented that way. World Traditions, on just a purely technical basis, was an extremely poorly sampled library eg, noisy, sounds cut off in the wrong place, etc. That was pretty much the consensus of those who tried it at the time. I think World Suite was UVI’s attempt to go in a different direction, given that Traditions was so poorly received.
-
Would be nice if they some day updated their World Traditions library, easily the worst library I’ve ever purchased. A truly unprofessional effort.

Can I license this on two computers ?
-
Exactly

Thx! to helpful forum denizens…but very frustrating. Why is it that Eventide never sends their customers (or at least me) notice of available updates? Isn’t that like Customer Service 101?
-
Yeah but that applies to cross grading a RX post-production suite to an everything bundle, not updating a previous everything bundle to get the new Neutron, Ozone and RX,…. right?
-
So does this mean that any Everything bundle deal I buy from this point on, will include the latest Neutron, RX and Ozone (all advanced versions)?

Years ago, Arturia gave theirs away briefly as a freebie, also with tons of presets….one of my favorite freebies of all time. This one is still tempting, though.
-
Good on vocals too, especially in combination with an LA-2A type compressor.

I got what you were saying the first time. Of course we’d all like Larry back, for many reasons.
-
I’m with you on this, so long as disclosed in the event the poster is also specifically endorsing the product.
-
Good idea to demo before purchase if you use Studio One. Relab does not support S1 and some (eg me) have had crashing problems with it.
-
Yeah, I thought you were referring to the Techrader article. I’ve had issues with filehorse in the past, so I’ll defer on that. YMMV
-
…..or not….?. At least for me, click through gets an error message.
-
I’ve just got the M-1. Each time I try to do an update, I get an error message at the end….but the update still works. Weird.
-
I think you misunderstood me. What I found annoying was the back and forth on the “mystery” post, apparently about Peter, which had been deleted.
-
I feel like an outsider here watching a debate between the privileged few who know what’s going on. It’s kind of annoying.

I wouldn’t blame Fleer, but yeah…I hear ya. I have two or three verbs that do special effects, but for what I do there’s no need to collect any more. Yeah, a tool, but on the list of things I need to cover, would be one near the bottom of the box. For others it would be super useful…just not me.
-
Agree….that’s why I paid the $10:))
-
For those desiring to pay even less than $10 ….actually zero….for some nice FM sounds, don’t forget about Dexed. Definitely one of my favorite free synths.
-
If you’re running Studio One, I’d go on the Relab site first and demo the 480 before buying it. For some people there appears to be no problem, but for me it crashes S1 on two different Lenovo laptops I have. And Relab does not officially support S1. Again, YMMV

I would push back on this, hard. Why should you have the responsibility for persuading their licensed vendor on this? If IK’s licensed vendor screwed up, IK is the one who should be taking charge of the solution, since it is 1) profiting from this, 2) could have easily drafted its own terms to avoid this situation; and 3) has much more leverage with APD than you would ever have. This “not my problem” attitude is just totally unacceptable coming from a company that claims to value customer service. I’m actually astonished by how long they are allowing people to twist in the wind over this. They are burning way more customer good will with all who are observing this than they will ever save in $ from the relatively small number of people affected.
