So how about this one: If I buy my qualifying item from a third party dealer (which seems to be allowed) at a lower price than available on the IK website, what is the greatest value of any bonus item I can select from the IK website? The value I paid the third party, the value IK would have charged for the qualifying product...or some other number?

Has anyone ever used this third party provider of audio stuff? Some of their prices are interesting. Are they legit?

I bought Clavitube when it was on sale a while ago. A very pleasant surprise.

I actually use every one of these plugins regularly except for the Kings Microphones and the one that models the sound of the control room. A great set.

Uncle E. is a great guy, but these server issues have been happening over and over again over the years. Not sure if it’s true here, but I have noticed over the years that businesses that have these problems, frequently have an immune from termination Incompetent employee (relative or good friend) in charge of the problem issue.

I’ve had this thing for ages and just love it. Being a non-keyboard guy, this (along with sitting down with my guitar) may be the best tool for song writing I have.

Yeah, this is kind of the issue I have. The B3 is by far the most interesting to me, and the rest which I don’t have,—not so much. I’ve got quite a few decent B3 type sounds from various sources, but nothing like the IK B3. I’m still kind of on the fence, but I don’t think another freebie (I probably won’t use) is going to make the difference for me.

Without a doubt....MODO Bass. Great bass sounds and very flexible. I have been left uninspired by every demo I’ve heard of MODO Drums. While it can do a lot of cool, interesting things, I didn’t feel the underlying sounds were in the same league as either Superior 3 or BFD 3, or for that matter EZ Drummer 2.

Anyone have any thoughts on what per cent of an M2 NVME drive (used as a sample drive) you need to keep open in order to avoid performance drop-offs ?

I agree that sounds from other areas can provide interesting color- and I’ve certainly picked up a number of such sounds, at least incidentally over the years. Just saying that the “still more” rationale does not provide value for me at this point. YMMV

Very helpful, but just confirms why it’s not gonna work for me. I’d really like B3, but I already have the other IK instruments that I care about—Mr. Realism tells me I’d probably never use Modo Drums with SD3 and BFD3 around. And going small ball, with a qualifying keyboard, doesn’t really work for me either since I already grabbed Clavitube and Spaceport when they were freebies. Since I’m not an EDM guy, it comes down to only B3 and Alternate Keys having value for me, and that’s just not enough for me.

That could well be . But I would think if the initial purchase is a high retail $299 item like B3 or a Modo, they’d still make a nice profit if they allowed a far lesser retail keyboard to be thrown in as a freebie when they reach a qualifying tier.

How does this compare with other Soldanos? I’m reluctant to add anything that has only dongle or continuous cloud licensing .
