When you start a topic there is a textbox for creating tags. If you know bbcode you can write the tag code yourself. That's probably how that one newcomer got to have a red tag in his topic title. Board admins can prohibit use of bbcode as they wish. One day a certain bbcode work and maybe another day it doesn't. TheSteven reminded me of this with [.SPOILER]spoiler text[./SPOILER] if you remove the dots it should be

Maybe it is an empty wav file? The problem might be with Biab. Doublecheck settings and the track focus before exporting. If the focus have shifted to something else than the track you're exporting it would be an audiofile with silence.

In prv and the controller window there can sometimes be more controllers than just velocity. I've seen it when using my waves tune to get midinotes from an audiofile and importing a midifile from the web. Waves tune produced a wheel controller which i wasn't interested in. I used the erase tool to remove all events in the controller. It seems that's the only way to get rid of the controller and not just hiding it. Maybe there's a workaround for this too which i don't know of? How about a rightclick option to delete the controller or its events?

[Answered] Why Has the Old SONAR Forum Been Reduced to Just Two Pages?
Kurre replied to Larry Jones's question in Q&A
Are you saying that you are able to change it to something else than 30 days and it would stick. Does it not jump back to 30 days. Why would i post if i didn't test it? Have you? i do not take for granted what someone say or write without testing it first. I can misunderstand but in this case there's only two options and either you find "30" and can post a reply or doesn't find it and should not post a reply. Maybe a question at most. -

That is not helping much, is it? If the forum is read only, how do you change 30 days to a longer period. -
How do I provide feedback about this community itself?

Just to get things clear. Would that mean that James G can't have 40 topics per page? Personally, i think default is ok. -

I don't see the new 40. -
Do as you probably already done. Make one miditrack and one instrumenttrack with the TTS-1. The instrumenttrack should have output to master, it probably have as it is the default, and input echo button on. The miditrack should have output to TTS-1 as usual but the echo button on is optional. Its input should be set to your midikeyboard. Now to the extra. Look at the picture provided by msmcleod of the track inspector. Remember to have the miditrack in focus. Where the red marking says "midi channel = none" change that to TTS-1, choose the first in line. In the dropdown list under that change to any preset. It is the bank list. And in the dropdown under that is the patch list. It changes with the bankselection. PS. I did some search and test. Click the patch list in the inspector and when it's selected you can change patch by going up and down with the + and - in your numpad. If you have one.

For newcomers to CbB there is this article-series by Craig Anderton at the Sound on Sound magazine. If you start here; https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/software/daw/sonar-cakewalk?page=2 then you have a lot of tips considering it is one per month over several years. When you come to 2016 everything should work with CbB. They are free to read up to september 2018.

How do I provide feedback about this community itself?
Kurre replied to Jesse Jost's topic in Frequently Asked Questions
If this board have the ability to do it i would like to have "hidden" as a choice for text in my post. Sometimes you want to wait a bit with the answer. People reading the post will have to make that extra step to click on that "hidden" marking to see the text within. I do not have a use for it just now but as i have used it in other forums, there surely would be a need for it in the future. -
Here's a song about NAMM.

Well...maybe if i told about my experience with a Tascam us16x08 you could have some use of it. I read about people having troubles with it but bought it in spite of that. Needed lots of ports for low price. It's Windows 7 fully updated and the sounddevice worked good the first week or so. Then it starts to drop sound at random interval and come back again. Did uninstall/reinstall of Tascam but no go. The more i tried to find a setting in Windows or Tascam settings that worked the badder it got. It got so bad that i couldn't log in because it frooze and didn't let me write text. If i disconnected Tascam Windows behaved ok. The solution was to uninstall Windows native sounddevice, Realtek HD audio, restart and go in to Bios and disable the sounddevice there. Tascam works pefect now. I only use this pc for CbB so i don't know how the sharing of the sounddevice with other programs in Windows is. I can hear Win startup tune though. PS. The reason i mention this is that i got the feeling that the two sounddevices fought each other for handling of the sound. And no change of sounddevice settings in Windows had an impact whatsoever.

+1 Nice tips McLeod. ?

Opposite to what probably many believes, i'm all for this.

Yea...i'm a bit grumpy. Didn't ask for alternative ways to do it, did i? This is a request forum not a help forum.

General midi uses midi channel 10 for drums. You are writing about midi track 10. Maybe some mix up with that?

I have not assumed everyone else want this. It was a personal request. If it happens it happens. ♣️ I'm astonished how rigid musicians are. You know, don't you, you just had to ignore me and my topic instead of try to persuade me to do things your way.

Wouldn't dream of it. I rather get the urge to go - kille kill kill, in my native language. While poking him with my finger.
