Grem, Thanks for the screen shot and the location. That's even better than what I was looking at. I too want to use this even more myself instead of using my old method of using a track sheet.

I will be using the gear in my signature until it dies, then I am going back to a mixing console. ?

I found it when I clicked on the Browser tab. I forgot it was there hidden away. Section A

What? No one knows where to keep track documentation besides using folders.

Try it. Just install via the XLN install and demo it. You get a 10 day free trial and once finished, uninstall it.

I downloaded the trial version because I was curious about how it worked. It's a fast way of making beats using the multitude of samples included in XO, and by adding your own samples as well. You can then assigning the 8 tracks in the program to eight tracks in CbB. The samples are arranged by color and you can choose them by scrolling around the colorful sample field and listening to them quickly. While in XO, you can modify the sample to the sound you want for your beat. Overall, it's not a bad program and I like it , but I wouldn't pay the price XLN is asking.

Hello All, I know that I am getting older because I am forgetting things now. Cakewalk allowed you to write notes under the Track Folder, but there was another location for writing memos and notes, but I can't remember where it was.. I want to do a better job of including documentation with each track.
-
I must say, it integrates well with CbB as a VST instrument.

Yes that was Sade, and she still uses a Sure Beta 58 to this day with her lovely voice. Oohhh ?

I recently purchased an Audio-Technica 4040 and I love that mic. I was thinking about getting a Rode NT1, but some how I think I made out a bit better. I have a Shure SM7B that is a go to mic. Two starter mics which are my Samson CO1 and CO3 condenser mics Finally the mic I only used once, the MXL992. Next is an AKG C414 XLII- I am drooling over getting this on... saving my lunch money. ?

This is wonderful. The voice sound just like Andrew Schep's voice. Do you all think he participated upon request?

Done !!

Mark you are the MAN!!!!!! Maybe I should have read the instruction further, but I was sooo excited to get this working. LOL ?? ?

Mark, Aaahhh it says, "No Sonar Project Loaded" and there are no plugins loaded on the tracks. In Task Manager, Cakewalk is not running in the background. Driver Mode is the default one of MME

Mark, So far everything worked well except for this one little hiccup. When I opened a project that I have been working on for sometime and moved all of the faders down several db's and then closed the project without saving, the faders didn't zero out. All of my faders stayed where I last moved them to on my MCU. I didn't want to save the project at this point. I then created a new project and moved the faders to different db levels and saved the project. I then closed the project and then CbB. The faders still didn't return to zero. Am I doing something wrong?

Question, Should we save the Mackie ini file in case somethimg happens and we need to revert back. Last time, I modified my MackieControl.ini with the one from Azlow it worked great at allowing me to see the default plugins in the Pro Channel, however, every time I touched a button on my MCU it made a beeping sound. I removed the MackieControl.ini and replaced it with the original one and it put me back to where I started from.

Walmart company to release it's own DAW
jesse g replied to Christian Jones's topic in The Coffee House
Perform a search on the Walmart site and you will see a bunch of Audio equipment. I purchased a pair of KRK KNS 8400's for $75.00 there one time. I posted it to the Cakewalk forum and they sold like crazy as the prices were getting lower each day.
