You worked for hours without saving then opened a VST and.... You were surprised.
Well, everyone makes that mistake once.
Cntrl-S is your friend.

Forced update
I'm surprised more people have not complained about this.
I updated to build 48 just 3 days ago. The "About" screen showed my activation was valid until December. So just imagine my reaction when I opened Sonar this morning (with a short time window in which to work) and the activation is no longer valid. I am given no choice but to spend valuable time updating again.
I am begging, please don't do that to us again.

The mastering features are part of the Bandlab app.

Only the most recent version of Cakewalk can be activated. So make sure you are updated first.

Judas Priest - Johnny B. Goode (absolutely fecking dreadful)
Yep. That is terrible.
However, their covers of Green Manalishi and Diamonds and Rust are both awesome.

Are you sure you are clicking the bottom half of the clip?
It's working correctly here.
Ahh nevermind. If you are getting the red line....

Well, it is an Exclusive Offer.

I'm not sure if this is new to the latest version, but every time I switch tabs in the Browser, it buries the synth rack.
I remember reading that work had been done on the browser with this update, so I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior. I would really prefer that the browser tabs all stay the same size and not cover up the synth rack.
Or maybe I'm missing something?

This is what I use. Any computer or tablet on the network can use it simultaneously. There is also a smaller, less expensive model.

This is a job for cut and paste

Have you updated?
Only the most recent version can be activated.

I've been using it for several hours now. Everything is working very well. My only problem is the secondary now time display is too small. I can't see it well without changing the scaling (which I'm not going to do).
Other than that one thing, I'm happy with it.
Thanks

"Secondary Now Time display moved to main toolbar Now Time display as second row"
I don't like this. I don't remember anyone asking for it. The other way was better. I suppose I will get used to it.
"Color theme improvements"
Can someone elaborate on this please?

Well, Feature Requests belong in the Feedback Loop subforum. I'm sure that if you post this request there, the Bakers will get right on it for you.🙂

I got over 13 minutes of transcendence...
Watched it twice. And I intend to watch it again soon.
So, thank you for posting it.

If you like convoluted workarounds, then yeah.
Otherwise no.

Is there a shortcut way
Ripple Edit can screw up a project pretty badly if accidently left on.
Or maybe a Control Group?

L-20 Features
OP asked about the Allen and Heath SQ6. The L20 is a Zoom product and really a different animal.
I believe @David Baay correctly addressed the OP's issue.

Well @T Boog your prayer has been answered.
Now can you pray for it to stop?
I can't leave my house. 🫥

I replaced it with a MioXL
I also have one of those and I love it. It can handle all of the MIDI routing and filtering that I need.
However, everything you wrote after the part I quoted is exactly right. Suggesting that someone use it as a solution for their MIDI problems is just daring them to jump down a rabbit hole.

Just be sure to switch it off agin
I wish I could LIKE this a hundred times. You can completely screw up a project by forgetting to turn off Ripple Edit.
After download of Sonar 2025 hours of work lost after vst crash
in Cakewalk Sonar

Revert is the proper term
@Bobby Doyle, If you have File Versioning turned on you can Revert back the project to the point where you started today. However, you have lost Hours of work. If you had been saving periodically you could have used file versioning to find the last save point that played properly.
Any wave files you created will still be in the project audio folder. Any other edits are lost in the ether.
Cakewalk products from the DOS days until now have always been prone to crashes the longer you go without saving. And Auto-Save doesn't really help. It does not clear a dirty project. Although it could potentially rescue you from this problem, the project would still have crashed.
