Thanks, yeah I was suspecting that the issue might be coming from the fx. Good to hear, Evolution Roundwound is the most impressive bass plugin I ever heard, wondering how MODO compares to it in that regard (Fender Jazz Bass roundwound strings sound).

I still remember my dissapointment with the sound change when I moved on from tape casettes to mp3 players. It was much more convenient in use but the sound was clearly thin and much less sweet.

I expect these to sound good. Looking forward to read some opinions before I manage to demo them myself.
