Kilohearts the Works - £100 (or about $129) being resold by 2 private parties on VI Control forum: https://vi-control.net/community/threads/for-sale-kilohearts-the-works-£100.79030/#post-4354736 on KVR forum: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=501095&p=7314949&hilit=Kilohearts#p7314949 This is the lowest price for this that I recall seeing. Note: License transfers are quick and have no penalties - you get same benefits as original buyer: https://kilohearts.com/faq I upgraded to the works over BF and all my components appear to be transferable/resellable - see image below which is one of the components that came with my upgrade to the Works. Don't know if you can transfer items if you originally bought the whole set as 'the 'Works' but it is for components that came with 'the Toolbox' bundle.

Arturia give Waves top billing on email re Wave OneKnob, Waves neglects to even mention Arturia in the subject line. Sad.

Acme? So compared to the LA2A it's dynamite? When run in coyote mode - the plugin only thinks its response is fast but it lags and the gain makeup never catches up to the input which just runs away from you; but popular with some because the end result is a flat response. Yeah dumb ACME jokes, just surprised I was the first....

Total Composure Orchestra is available as a free download. It requires the full version of Kontakt 5. https://www.samplescience.ca/2019/02/the-total-composure-orchestra.html SampleScience has shared Total Composure Orchestra (TCO), a free orchestral sample library for Kontakt 5, created using only samples that are in the public domain. Here’s what they have to say about it: “Total Composure is the first to offer such a library exclusively for the Kontakt format; making use of Kontakt’s scripting capabilities to greatly enhance the playability, realism, and functionality of these public domain samples. The scripting aims to provide similar functionality across the different instrument groups, whatever the instrument; while more specific settings play to the strength of each instrument. Most of the instruments only contain one set of samples per articulation, and some only have one recorded dynamic layer – this is one of the many limitations we have found with using public domain samples. We have overcome these issues using a variety of physical modeling techniques that enhance the audio material. Using dynamic filters and intelligent repetition scripting we have removed the limitation of single dynamic recordings and solitary sample sets. Although we have put a lot of work into this product it is important to remember that at its core are the samples provided free of charge by a small number of people. Total Composure has gathered these samples from various locations and brought them all to one place where they can be used together. There are over 1500 samples in this library totaling more than 1.5 GB but we have used Kontakt’s lossless compression to crunch the size to less than 500MB.”

Everyone has a different work style and what you've done sounds like it could be very useful. My problem isn't usually finding good sounds, it's finding enough time to do the other elements of song creation. I tried creating a list of great & usable patches once upon a time but found I rarely used it.

Definitely check out the demo - there's another thread about the update under the deals forum and some are underwhelmed about acquiring this upgrade. If you are planning on buying it... If you're on Time+Space's mailing list check your email for a 10% off discount coupon code. If you have Time+Space loyalty points you can drop the price further still. https://www.timespace.com/products/overloud-th-u-full-guitar-amp-simulator?variant=20701205266545

Will Omnisphere do everything that IK Syntronik will?
TheSteven replied to Leighton Cooper's topic in Instruments & Effects
If this is your only criteria - Omnisphere hands down. As abacab says Omnisphere is a beast. In terms of builtin library... IK Syntronik - 2,000 patches Omnisphere - 14,000 patches and a patch can have up to 10 oscillators. But the real question to ask is what do actually need? Omnisphere costs significantly more and just because it has 14,000 patches doesn't mean that that you're going to like or be able to use most of them. I'd recommend you first check out a number of the many video demos for both synths and see if you like what you hear and the synth is something that you can work with if you like both synths and both look like they are manageable then maybe you should save up for Omnisphere. But be honest with yourself and don't just get Omnisphere because it's bigger or more expensive. I'm willing to bet there are a number of people out their who bought it and rarely use it because they just get lost in it. In regards to: >Can I make the same instruments more or less in Omnisphere? I'm not sure this is the right question. Most people aren't that good that programming synths or rather spend their time making music as opposed to trying to learn. Can it be done? Probably Yes. But Omnisphere does contain a lot of classic sounds and you can probably find many of them buried in it's library. -
You're probably saturated with reports & reviews of the 2019 Winter NAMM but here's a nice overview from KVR that's not mono-focused on just guitars or synths or something else. https://www.kvraudio.com/focus/winter-namm-2019-show-report-44260

I just noticed that I received an email this morning time stamped 8:29 AM PST from Time+Space... Maybe because I bought TH3 from them. The discount plus the loyalty points from buying TH3 should add up to a nice sale price.

I received an email from Plugin Alliance this morning regarding the bug report I submitted on the VST3 issue:
