    I phoned a suicide prevention helpline last week...........

    I told the lady who answered that a month ago I met the most beautiful girl in the world and she's really into me. Won't leave me alone, if you know what I mean. Anyhoo, I was feeling so lucky that I bought a lottery ticket for the first time ever and I won 39 million, so I went straight to the swanky car dealership and bought the lamborghini that I've always lusted after and they gave me a 20% discount too. Now I'm having my dream house custom built and I asked my girl to marry me. I know it's a bit sudden, but it just feels right, She agreed, but only if there is a pre-nup that gives her nothing in the event of a spilt because she doesn't want people to think that she's after my money.

    "So what is your problem?" the lady asked.

    "Oh" I said, "I don't have a problem, I just thought I'd let you hear some good news for a change."

    Can't handle alcohol as I fight the aging process. In my own defense it was the strongest I could find. 10.2% alc.. Basically 1 was like 2.5 so I essentially downed 8 beer in the time it takes to have 3.

    2021 was a horrible year for so mamy reasons for me.  I've never felt so alone and isolated and miserable in my entire life as I did this year. But I was so busy I hardly had time to think about it until now. I didn't sit down for 10 minutes all year 7 days a week from January to mid December. I was and still Am exhausted. I did a TON of work inside and out here at my house not to mention what I went through with my dog in the coldest month in 200 years here while my wife was in Hawaii telling me I was overreacting.

    Something's gotta change this year or I'm throwing in the towel.

    Edit: Oh yeah ... Happy New Year.

    Sounds to me like you've got the basis of a C&W song or two there...... 

    Fire up the rig and get 'em done before you accidentally cheer yourself up..?

    Reminds me of my first time in FL.....opening the car window to get some air in only to find out that it was even hotter with the window open. I'm like...WTF??

    I also once arrived in Minneaopolis in late November snow and got stared at a lot for being the only person walking around wearing shorts and a t-shirt, but that's another story...
