She plays extremely smoothly and the tones are very good. More than the sustainiac pup, I liked the fishman pup. It's very quiet on all settings has a nice/pleasant bite/response (not even the slightest buzz noise from the pups).  They're some hot pups.

She's very easy to play and the build quality is quite nice. Checked all the frets and no problems there as well.

    Audio or it didn't happen.........

No once you read the EULA. Allow only for one machine.   I'd take Waves anything over this.

Thanks for replying. I only have one, so that doesn't really bother me. My question was more to do with whether it is worth having. I guess the lack of any other replies is the answer I am looking for.

@paulo I think Jordan can afford more sophisticated setups than my meagre budget. Particularly back then !.  I was the only keyboard player around Sydney with this type of stand.

Maybe true, but the title of the thread isn't "Best keyboard stand cobbled together by a low budget guy's brother in law in the Sydney area during the 1980's" is it ??

acres of land have burned (to give an idea of the scope, it's more than the entire size of Wales

I laughed at that bit. Not because it's a funny situation, but it just reminded me of the way that UK media only ever seem to have two units of measurement when reporting on the size of an area. It's always x amount of football pitches or an area roughly the size of Wales. Such a bizarre way of describing it, like anyone actually knows how big Wales is.

Anyhoo, to put your mind at rest the UK media (BBC) have looked into the "false" stories and concluded that they're definitely false. HTH.

    $19.99 a month
Which gets you Nectar 3, VocalSynth, and Melodyne

Hmmm....... a free thing, a thing that will be free before the years is out and a thing that is about to be replaced.

  6. I don't know the original, so nothing to compare it to here.  Sounds good.  As good as the vox sound and really leap out in a  good way, I might be inclined to back it off a tiny bit, or automate volume where it's slightly too loud in places (IMO). My only real crit is that the drums could use some variation. Feels a bit like you did all the hard work with the other tracks and then just threw a loop in for drums, cut a couple of pauses into it and called it done. Then again, maybe it's supposed to be like that and I have no idea what I'm talking about.

  7. I liked it, but I didn't find it relaxing. I think maybe the lead/melody instrument needs to be softer/more ethereal sounding.  1:32 is an example of where it seems a bit harsh and jarring to me if relaxation is the aim.

  8. If I were the mixer, I think I'd start the next mix by dropping the Dim Pro vocals - not really working for me.  Press that mute button and it's already better.
