  1. I can still load old WRK files made over 20 years ago in CbB 2023.09 Build 75
  2. Have you tried using the latest Cakewalk Command Centre (1.1.8.1) to install and activate? All of the products you mention show up on mine as installed. https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Command-Center

    Not smooth preview

What are your PC specs, audio interface, driver mode, bit depth, sample rate and buffer size, etc? Give us as much as you can
  4. ...... the same as last year’s...... 24bit.
  5. But is still just a wrapper for Windows drivers anyway. Personally I would ditch it and use the native ASIO drivers that come with my audio interface.
  6. According to the VST Setting dialogue box, setting this option hides VST2 plugins. However, the OP says that it’s the VST3 iterations that are not showing up.
  7. Have you tried doing a reset then a scan? (in Preferences - File - VST Settings) If that does not work, can you give the name of a specific VST3 plugin that does not appear?
  8. No, there isn’t. You are probably better off editing, then exporting just that portion of the video using a dedicated video editor..
  9. I am going to go out on a limb here and speculate that Cakewalk by Bandlab 2023.09 Build 75 will stop working sometime between 6 months and 2 years after the release of Sonar (which itself is unknown). As to the definitive and precise date - I don’t think even the bakers themselves know that one yet.
  10. As per title. Download from here: https://id.korg.com/static_pages/3 Note: On their previous versions, on my PC and another here, Korg Software Pass would show the GUI for about half a second. Then it would close without displaying anything further or any error message. It was due to an incomparability between Korg Software Pass and the latest Microsoft Vdist Runtimes. Version 1.2.11 starts correctly.
  11. Dude!! Start a new thread. Seriously!
  12. Not according to an email I just received (After performing a pre-order) “SynthMaster 3 is currently in Alpha stage. We are expecting to be Beta in January and release the finished product in March.” Note: SM3 Alpha is available for purchase Now https://www.synthmaster.com/synthmaster3.aspx
  13. Dies wird wahrscheinlich durch Volume Controller (CC7)-Events in der MIDI-Spur verursacht. Suchen Sie danach entweder in der Pianorollenansicht oder in der Ereignislistenansicht.
  14. Try Inverting the phase of one of the stereo channels of your voice track.
  15. Have you enabled Multiprocessor Support in the Kontakt Options, Engine tab?
  16. Open Device Manager, drill down to “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”, Open up Properties for anything that has “Root Hub” in the name, then in the “Power Management” tab , deselect “Allow Windows to turn off devices to save power”. Also, if you must connect your USB devices via a USB hub, then make sure that USB hub has its own power supply.
  17. I use “RechannelMIDI=1” in the “Cakewalk.ini” file. (Preferences - File - Initialisation File (Advanced)) Then, when I bounce MIDI clips, the MIDI channels of all MIDI events in the resultant clips will change the match the MIDI channel of the MIDI track they are in. Of course, for this to work, your MIDI tracks need to be set to specific MIDI channels, rather than “None”.
  18. You’re not in offset mode by any chance are you? Any chance of a full screen screenshot showing the inspector for the bus you want to automate and the control bar visible (specifically the mix Module)?
  19. Now if they could do that with Motions, Fragments and the entire Augmented series........

    Expression pedal

I am the one with the PCR800 (Working fine) The OP stated they have an an M-Audio EX-P expression pedal connected to a M-Audio Hammer 88 I would have thought, with both items being from the sane manufacture, that this combination would be fine. To the OP: You say you’re only getting 60% to 100%. Are you able to use MIDI monitoring software to see what the M-Audio Hammer 88 is actually transmitting when moving the expression pedal? I use the free utility ShowMIDI for this. This can run in standalone or as a VST and will show you what the M-Audio Hammer 88 is actually transmitting when moving the expression pedal. https://github.com/gbevin/ShowMIDI/releases
  21. The only version of Cakewalk by Bandlab that will activate is CbB 2023.9 Build 75. Any version prior to this will not activate as these version will try to connect to the old activation server. The installer for CbB 2023.9 Build 75 is “Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Setup_29.09.0.075.exe”. You can’t see the extension on your list because your Windows is configured not to display them. (On mine, they do) You might as well delete the installers for earlier versions as they will not activate. It will be quite a while before CbB 2023.9 Build 75 will cease to activate. Even after Sonar is released, CbB 2023.9 Build 75 will still activate for some time yet. This is to give people time to transition.
  22. Just this project or all? Have you checked the output level of your Hardware Output channel strip has not changed. Maybe reinstall the drivers for your audio interface?
  23. Doubling the Ram would only help if you are actually hitting the ram ceiling. Getting a bigger power supply would probably not help. How many tracks in the project? What happens if you disable the “video file playing”?
