  1. Just tried it here... no debugger message here.
  2. Yeah, 30 gig per piano - 240 gig all up..... for me, that's a hard pass. $99/99€ might be a good deal monetarily. However, drive space is also a currency when it comes to plugins. 240gig is quite a high price, especially when I could probably achieve a similar result as Pianoverse with the stuff I already have. I have Sampletank Max (with their pianos), Arturia Piano V3, Arturia Fragments, Melda's MComplete, Immersive Black Hole or Mturboreverb (for those really lush long reverbs). Even if Pianoverse was free, I still would not bite. I do agree that a physical modelled piano from IKM would be more tempting...... (Would compete with Arturia Piano V3 and Pianoteq)
  3. That's quite strange. I can use Modo Bass 2.0.3 in Cakewalk by Bandlab. With out looking up the previous thread, what issue did you have with Modo Bass 2.0.3 in Cakewalk by Bandlab?
  4. Definitely enable file versioning. That has saved my derriere on many occasions.
  5. Sorry, I had to do a cull of attachments due to the forum limit. Try these. Compress to the left.CAL Compress to the right.CAL
  6. As per title. Update via EastWest Installation Centre
  7. Until you fix this, you could use a CAL script to delete those notes. Put the following (copy and paste to capture the required spaces) in a *.CAL file You could even bind that CAL to a computer key to make the process even faster. (do (forEachEvent (if (&& (&& (== Event.Kind NOTE) (== Note.Key 60)) (<= Note.Dur 30)) (delete)))) In the above snippet, the 60 (after the Note.Key) is the note number and the 30 (after the Note.Dur) is the maximum duration of the spurious note the keyboard generates.
  8. Generally, if I want to include tempo changes, markers, time/measures, etc in copy/cut and paste operations, first I drag across the ruler to do the select. Then I do a cut, copy and pastes special and then include the various elements. If you only want those elements and not MIDI event, then I deselect “Events in Tracks”. I tried marquee selecting some tempo changes (so they were the only items selected), and still the “copy Tempo” item in the Copy special dialogue was greyed out. Looks like dragging across the ruler to do the selection is the way to go.
  9. I am using a PC as per my signature and I do not have this issue with SI bass (or any synth vsti). I am assuming you are using the latest Focusrite ASIO drivers? What buffer size and sample rate are you using? What else have you tried?
  10. My Arturia stuff has gone back to briefly showing the login screen when I start one of their synths. This looks like an issue with the ASC. Arturia are going to have to fix this. I have flicked an email off to Arturia support.
  11. Are these differences occurring in MIDI tracks with just the note data in them? For the Distortion Guitar, are there any CC74 or CC71 events therein. As a test, what happens if you put CC74 > 63 and CC71 > 63 Events in TTS-1 default drum kit Crash Cymbal 2 plays ok here.
  12. Hopefully the Black Friday sales will yield a good discount to K8....... That being said, I have used K7 on a few projects without any issues....
  13. Such a function is available in Sonar 2024, but not in Cakewalk by Bandlab. See: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/topic/81866-current-sonar-release-202409/#Configuration backup/restore
  14. Many application are written in a language called Visual Studio C++. Programs written in C++ need to access various subroutines to perform their various tasks. These subroutines are contained in what are called the runtime libraries. The installers for these applications pretty much always contain a version of these runtime libraries. However, Microsoft, from time to time update these libraries and make these updates available as separate downloads. Now, the version of the runtimes that comes with said application will be the version that allows that application to work property. However, sometimes other applications will install an earlier version. Sometimes (though rarely) the runtime libraries become corrupt. That's when you might want to reinstall the runtime libraries. That link I posted will always have the latest version. Cakewalk is one of those applications that, if your runtime libraries are corrupt (or even is a buggy version), will fail to start. Most times, just installing the runtimes over the top will be sufficient. However, sometimes, you need to uninstall he runtimes and reinstall. Reinstalling Cakewalk should also reinstall the runtimes.
  15. With Cakewalk, Drum Maps move in mysterious ways......(Which is why I just use the notes pane for drums) The other reason I use the notes pane is that when I use the drum pane via a drum map, I lose access to the RPNs and NRPNs as defined in my instrument definition files (which my outboard gear can take advantage of to get to various stuff).
  16. I rarely bother with the Drum Pane. I just use the normal PRV, right click on the keyboard and then select "Addictive drums 2" - the keyboard is replaced by the kit piece names. The list that appears here is derived from the master.ins file - for CbB, this is in the "%APPDATA%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core" folder. The contents of this text file "AD2.ins" goes in the .Note Names section of your master.ins file. Make a Backup before editing. Make sure CbB is closed while editing AD2.ins
  17. I did. On my system, the latest version is Vdist 2022 is 14.42.3443
  18. That is definitely different to the page I get when I click on the link I sent you... Here is a direct link to the updated 2022 Vdist runtime. https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
  19. See: (Scroll down to X64) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-au/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
  20. On a properly configured PC, with all updates and drivers (all, not just audio), all 64bit plugins, yes. What have you tried so far? I am assuming you have performed all Windows updates, updated all drivers, updated your Vdist runtimes and ditched all 32bit plugins.
  21. Are you using a workspace? Remember, the layout of the Control Bar is stored in Workspaces. If you are using a workspace, then edit that Workspace so as not to load the Control Bar layout from that Workspace. If you are using a workspace, and you do want the Control Bar layout to be loaded with that workspace, then , after setting your Control Bar layout how you would like it, save that workspace. If you are not, then set your workspaces to “”None.
  22. That would be true if you are using your DAW as a glorified tape deck. Not so true if you are using the deeper functions of your DAW. If you are using dedicated scripting or custom GUI designs, then switching DAWs would be near impossible.
  23. Maybe try a reset then scan.
  24. Where is the MIDI data from the MIDI track that you are sending the MIDI from the LX88 being routed to? Maybe a full screen screenshot would help (Use PC, not phone)
  25. Does not look like it at this time. If you are on Sonar Platinum still, the most recent version you can get is Cakewalk by Bandlab. I definitely recommend this as CbB is light years ahead of Sonar Platinum. That being said, I believe that Sonar 2024 is now at a stage were the subscription is worth it. Also, I do not think we can yet say that a perpetual licence for Sonar 2024 can be fully ruled out.
