  6. A few projects ago I stumbled onto something I never thought possible in CbB. On the piano roll grid editor I actually saw the names of each note at the beginning of the note so I didn't have to trace it back to the keyboard on the far left of the editor to see what note it was. I felt fortunate to have discovered this great tool and looked up how to make this happen in every project. It's in the Note menu in the MIDI editor and the "Show Note Names" needs to be checked. Well, I just went into another project to make that happen and despite the "Show Note Names" being checked, they don't show. Is there something else I have to do to make them show? Thanks; ?John B

  9. Hi Nigel; I don't know how you come up with the imagery in your vids but they are excellent and always match your music to the tee. Congrats on another fine production! ?John B

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

Got mine pre-ordered. I just hope they do this like they did EZ Drummer 3 last year where we got to keep EZD 2 along with EZD 3. There was so much new in 3 that it took me a while to learn all of the new stuff while trying to learn how the old stuff worked in the new program. ? ?John B
  12. @Lynn WilsonWow, what a complement. Thanks so much, Lynn. You're so kind. ?JB

Very nice! I enjoy this style of acoustic guitar. I especially like Wm Ackerman and John Fahey. You remind me of them on this. ?John B

    WUP is back

Guess I'm kinda cheap. I own about 10 Waves plugs (that I paid for and about 2 I got for free). I would only consider updating 3 of them which would cost about $40.00 together. You can wait to do this until you need it if you want so I choose to do that. But I guess I'm taking a risk if they decide to screw us again somewhere down the road. ?John B
  17. Has a Tower of Power style horn section via Native Instruments Session Horns Pro. Hope you enjoy. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14525910 ?John B
  18. Izotope Vocalsynth is pretty close. I have version 1 but at this point haven't gone to 2 yet. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VocalSynth2--izotope-vocalsynth-2-vocal-multi-effects-plug-in ?John B
  19. Does kinda make you wonder, doesn't it? They must have expected some backlash but just not as overwhelming as it was. Their Facebook page was loaded to the hilt with negativity and just raw hatred. Maybe after things have calmed down who knows what they may try again. This whole thing makes me think back fondly to the days when you could just buy, install and run software and didn't have to be at the mercy of the vendor as to how you use it. I could understand them not wanting the piracy and copying but they have gotten to the point where they have gone too far with their control. This is a good example. ?John B
  20. Good song but as said, the vocal track is a bit dicey. ?John B
  21. I like it. It has an infectious rhythm pattern and I really enjoy the effect on the trumpet. ?John B
  22. About 11:30 this morning I got a call from Mark Brun of Sweetwater who gave me the new that Waves had reversed course, then I saw their announcement. I'm good with that but I did buy alternative to my 2 most used Waves PIs. I bought the Purified SLP 538 EQ to replace the SSL E Channel and the Brainworx BX Townhouse Bus Compressor to replace the Waves SSL Bus Comp. I got them both on special. For a short time after Mark told me the news, I though "I wish I would've known they were going to do this. I wouldn't bought those", but maybe it wasn't a bad decision after all. Like some of you are saying, maybe we should all be a bit leery of Wave after this move. At the very least, I don't think I will be buying anything more from them. I guess we're good for now but who knows what the future will bring. ?John B
  23. @DeeringAmpsThanks so much, Tom. ?John B
  24. I've been using them for 7 years. Just trying to help.?
