  1. Take look at the free Kilohearts plugin collection, the "Essentials": https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials What's included: https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials#included There is a Delay, Dual Delay, Frequency Shifter, and a Pitch Shifter, among 30 available plugins... https://kilohearts.com/products/delay https://kilohearts.com/products/dual_delay
  2. I'm almost sold on the Synthwave EZX for EZdrummer 3, but think I'll wait on the EZkeys version... except for maybe when the MIDI pack comes out! But seriously, EZkeys need to be updated to v2. That GUI sure needs a facelift! ?
  3. Just the 50% sale on individual banks. The best way to see what is available is to browse the store from within Pigments (or Analog Lab if you have that). There are some free banks available to grab, and you can demo any bank in the store list (limited to the unlocked presets in each bank).
  4. Yes, when you browse the store from Analog Lab V(5), grab all the free banks that you see! Plus, you can demo any sound bank in the store, and there are a number of select presets in each bank that are unlocked to play (but not save).
  5. Among the Photoshop alternatives, Affinity Photo, Corel Paintshop Pro, Corel Photo-Paint (part of CorelDraw Graphics Suite), and the GIMP, are legit IMO. Here's a list of PS alternatives, most of which I've never used. https://www.techradar.com/best/photoshop-alternatives
  6. That's the only negative I can see with Scaler. Otherwise a fantastic plugin with a great track record of frequent and free updates! Maybe they will get bought up by Soundwide or Image Line and get the update checks right?
  7. The servers that handled the legacy password resets were shut down years ago, and are no longer responding. Just follow Lord Tim's advice and send an email to support about your password. The BandLab team* should respond to support@cakewalk.com and do their best to reconnect you, if possible. *Also note the link that you looked at was for the Cakewalk by BandLab Help Center. There is a "Submit a request" contact link at the top of the page that you could have used to contact the support team about your password. That email address will get you to the same team.
  8. Do you have a license for Melodyne? Scook mentioned that the version bundled with Cakewalk is a trial. If you do have a license, ensure that you have downloaded it and installed from your Celemony account.
  9. I don't see it as political, just the nature of governments and military in general to react to perceived (real or imaginary) threats. Human nature as it is... Although I wouldn't be at all surprised to see political commentators picking up the idea and taking it for a spin. But I mostly ignore politics, so I may have missed that one.
  10. It's been a few years since this version change occurred, so am a bit fuzzy in the details. But pretty sure the "Breverb 2 Cakewalk edition" version change happened after BandLab re-released Cakewalk. I'm currently showing the Overloud VST2 "Breverb 2 Cakewalk" as v2.1.13.0 in CbB.
  11. Melodyne 5 Essential shows up fine here in Cakewalk. Select an audio clip in a Cakewalk track, then go to "Region FX" in the track view menu and select "Melodyne > Create Region FX". If you have already re-installed Melodyne (download the installer from your Celemony account), then maybe try re-installing Cakewalk?
  12. I believe it has become a meme about recent fighter jets shooting down a stray high-altitude balloon over the US... From the song... "Floating in the summer sky Panic bells it's red alert There's something here from somewhere else The war machine springs to life Opens up one eager eye Focusing it on the sky Where 99 red balloons go by"
  13. And Neoverb is selling for $25 today...
  14. It appears that Don Williams is staying busy... He's hard at work on Encore v6, to be released later this year. "On June 16, 2022, Sonic Scores purchased the Passport Music Software assets and trademarks. Sonic Scores plans to update Encore and Master Tracks Pro software to today’s standards while adding a few critically needed features." "Don Williams, the founder of Sonic Scores, was the original creator of Passport’s software products and was an early pioneer in the music software industry. He was the creator of Master Tracks Pro, Encore, Overture" https://passportmusic.com/about/
  15. I believe that the guy that was behind the original Cakewalk notation code was the guy who runs Sonic Scores Overture, Don Williams. Don had approached Gibson prior to the Cakewalk shutdown to offer to integrate Overture notation code with Sonar. Gibson declined to take him up on the offer. Now it's a bit more obvious why they declined, if Gibson were already thinking about closing the Cakewalk product line down. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overture_(software) "Overture has been continuously maintained by the developer since it was first released. It was originally published by Opcode Systems, which produced MIDI sequencing and digital audio software. After Opcode ceased product development in 1999, having been bought out by Gibson Brands*, Overture found a new publisher, Cakewalk. Cakewalk published the software from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, Williams' own company, GenieSoft – now known as Sonic Scores – purchased Overture from Cakewalk. Greg Hendershott, CEO of Cakewalk at the time, announced, "The fact that GenieSoft founder Don Williams is the original developer of these products is great news for those customers. He's committed to continuing customer support and product enhancements."[1] GenieSoft later changed its name to Sonic Scores, and has published and developed Overture since 2001." *An earlier strike for Gibson...
  16. Great deal! Although the free version gets you the reverb and spatializer, this full edition adds the delay. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to check it out (at least the free edition). You just insert an instance on each track that you want to accurately place on a sound stage, with left to right, and near to far control. You can make a more interesting mix than by just panning each channel left or right to separate. The reverb automatically simulates the distance from the listener as you move away from the center of the panorama view . Check it out with a small band arrangement, or an orchestral ensemble.
  17. Not bad at all! Grab this one if you don't already have it!
  18. Same here! Just updated EZD3 and that stoopid trial is showing as available... ? I suspect that another update to TT Product Manager is imminent...
  19. EZbass and EZdrummer 3 point updates here.
