  1. Thank you sir! I stand corrected! I had looked all over, and checked the FAQ, but missed that! Regardless, the Acid Music Studio still appears to be crippled compared with the Pro version. Still think I will pass on this...
  2. MixBox is killer! Find a way to get that!
  3. I ordered my TPM 2.0 module for $15 the day the requirement was announced. By the very next next day they were nowhere to be found! Dang scalpers! Please keep us posted on Windows 11 DAW performance. I will probably keep running Win10 for at least two more years. I usually wait at least a year from RTM for major upgrades, and let others volunteer to be unpaid beta testers in the interim.
  4. I wish there was something I needed! ?
  5. I have RX 8 Standard (came with MPS bundle), but grabbed Sound Forge anyway. I used to use Sony Sound Forge 7, and it's pretty easy to use. So the 64-bit update was a no-brainer for $25. A Swiss army knife for audio editing. RX has some interesting healing options. I have been using Audacity for the past few years for quick and easy audio edits and conversions. It will be nice to have Sound Forge available for that again!
  6. Not quite accurate, You can buy items at a sale price and receive full retail value towards the group buy at IK. But you do need to "buy" something! No freebies, or magware will cut it! But IK won't ding you for the sale price. Nice guys! For example, last year I found and bought an IK crossgrade item on sale at an online distributor, and then registered it at IK, receiving the full $299 retail level credit as the qualifying item. That got me into the both MODO's and the Hammond B3 for free. Tip: You can even buy something on sale that you already own, and register it as a 2nd license. That worked for me!
  7. I didn't bother installing Samplitude, as I already have a few other Pro DAWs. But I was curious about Acid Music Studio as a former Sony Acid Pro 6 user. But as soon as I discovered that Acid Music Studio came with absolutely no content, not even a demo project, and cannot even export loops, I binned it immediately! $99 to upgrade to Pro? Fugedaboudit! The reason I picked up this bundle was for a cheap 64-bit upgrade from my old Sony Sound Forge 7. An audio Swiss army knife...
  8. Question about the user manuals... anybody see an English PDF for Samplitude Music Studio? I got the others in English, but there are no choices here, and I am signed into the website as a USA user. I got the bundle and successfully registered the applications in my Magix account. Didn't plan to install Samplitude, but thought that I might glance at the user manual. I only get the German version "handbuch_sms2019_de.pdf" when I download the instructions... ?
  9. This is an excellent video from Mike! Very good overview of the AD2 individual output routing in Cakewalk! The old Cakewalk website posted a useful AD2 drum map and template back in the Sonar days. It's still good in CbB! https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013364/Setting-up-a-Drum-Map-for-Addictive-Drums-2-in-SONAR (download is in this link) http://www.noelborthwick.com/cakewalk/2015/02/06/drum-maps-ad2-in-sonar/
  10. That's the math talking. Bravo!
  11. You quoted me out of context. Thanks. ? I also said (if you read my post) "But that still does not guarantee that the actual seller has any scruples..."
  12. The top level domain checks out as clean with a number of URL scanners. But that still does not guarantee that the actual seller has any scruples... One example of URL scan: https://www.wmtips.com/tools/info/www.bestdeals.today Another: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/cd0acad836647803259c1cc91c0bae4121d2d02ac990e7cd3220eac69259af81/detection
  13. I have Discover and I added the Unify library for it from PluginGuru (good for Discover or Core). Skippy and team did a nice job with that! You will need to already own Unify and BBCSO to use it... https://www.pluginguru.com/products/discoverstation-corestation-unify-bbcso/
  14. SOS article from 2017 https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/toontrack-superior-drummer-3
  15. Toontrack is a good company! I have several of their products, and they seem to keep things up to date, and provide excellent support. As a non drummer, I picked up EZDrummer rather than SD3, which meets my needs for now. It's good to know that there is an upgrade path! Plus Toontrack is always releasing new expansions. I also have XLN AD2, and a number of ADPack expansions for it. It's still a functional product, but it now seems like ages since any new AD-Packs have been released. I will say XLN still provide updates and support, but don't seem very interested in leading the market...
  16. Freebies do not count. Are you surprised by that?
  17. https://fxpansion.com/news/bfd-joins-inmusic/ IMHO, there is a questionable track record with inMusic regarding ongoing support and updates for the products that they have acquired. I have several other products that were once good, and are now languishing under their ownership... I would advise a wait and see for inMusic.
