  1. I think that Ujam may have discovered the "sweet spot", between useful products, and marketing rhetoric! So far, from Ujam, I have 3 VB, 3 VD, and 3 VG. Got them all on sale! Well, except for VG-Sparkle, which was free at one point!
  2. Mellotron? Naw, but it's a smooth double bass, LOL!
  3. No idea, but I wouldn't wait too long! I just noticed them when I was looking at their other regular Black Friday sales today... Ujam does run periodic sales, but this is the first time I believe I have seen these flash sales...
  4. I think VB-Royal would pair up nicely with Virtual Drummer-Solid. It has a good all-around session bass sound that should work in many types of music. To my ears, it sounds like a fingered P-Bass on the bridge pickup settings. But since it has both neck and bridge pickup selections, it probably more like a Fender Jazz Bass.
  5. That $39 Mellow price is a no-brainer But Royal will probably go on sale again at 50% off. I got it for something like that a while back. So for VB, I now have Royal, Dandy, and Mellow.
  6. It's $39.99 right now at IK. I got that as one of my Group Butt freebies, LOL!!!
  7. The BBCSO Discoverstation library for Unify expands on the preset library provided with the base Spitfire BBCSO Discover. So there are the unified instrument presets, plus additional presets, layers (multis), BPM patches, etc. https://www.pluginguru.com/products/discoverstation-corestation-unify-bbcso/
  8. I wasn't planning to fall for any Black Friday trickery this year, but this $39 Mellow 2 may get me! ? And Virtual Drummer 2 Solid is $29...

    Vital Pro

Vital is a very cool synth!
  10. I believe that is a fairly common software industry practice. No surprises here... I agree that if one benefits from upgrade pricing, that there should be no expectation of un-linking the previous product that the upgrade price was based upon. As it should be, and totally fair to the software publisher. You are free to disagree, but it is what it is. ?
  11. Synapse Audio Dune 3, £99, through 28.11.2021 ($132.51) https://www.thomann.de/gb/synapse_audio_dune_3.htm
  12. I've uninstalled all of my other sampled synths except for Syntronik Deluxe 1. Disk space is not free. The modeled synths that I also have can do the same as Syntronik without a huge disk footprint. But I do like the sound that Syntronik provides! I will consider version 2, but only if I can be assured that installing it will not cause any issues with my current installation...
  13. OK, but I believe that NFR restrictions for upgrades and crossgrades are reasonable... i.e. the existing license has been continued into the discounted price for the next version. So your old license for the original version in now part of your current license. Why should you be able to sell that?
  14. My Synth Stack 2 price is $74.41 at the Cherry Audio shop. I already own Voltage Modular Core and 4 of their synths.
  15. Will Syntronik Deluxe 1 sounds work in Syntronik 2 CS?
  16. Incorrect! Arturia says this is how to do it:
  17. Does this mean that Syntronik 1 will no longer receive any maintenance updates?
  18. $20.98 for Voltage Modular 2 Ignite.
  19. I'm not sure I follow that. Did you mean "chromatic" rather than "harmonic"? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diatonic_and_chromatic
  20. That's why I now have 25, 32, 49, and 61 keys... The 25 keys fits very nicely in front of my main PC display near my PC keyboard & mouse. I also have a keyboard stand with the 61 keys and a 2nd PC display set at a 90 degrees right angle to the left of the main workstation (maybe that would make it a left angle). The 32 and 49 are backups now, ready if a need another, but no space for a permanent starting position for them in my current setup.
  21. I've never been a guitar player, but I do own a Fender P-Bass. 4 strings is plenty, and 2 would be just fine! ? Funny thing, is that I don't have any issues with 88 keys, or whatever... it's the same 12 notes repeated octave after octave...
  22. I am a former brass player, but have family members that are excellent woodwind players. I have always been fascinated by the development of MIDI wind controllers. The woodwinds always intimidated me due to the multiple keys. I thought that 3 valves was enough, LOL! ?
