Here's where I'm at...
I still have to get the rest of the SSD's installed, and route and tie the cables,
but it's been holding between 50 and 60 c for a while, even under use...so
I'm pretty content with that! It's laying on it's side, and will most likely stay
that way due to that enormous cooler! No "sideways" pull strain on the MB
if it's sitting flat! It will sit upright, but that cooler would put a lot of stress
on the MB I believe.Well all those non-spinning drives shouldn't give a sh*t how they are oriented! ?
Well played!

It worked great when it was in the External Enclosure, so who knows,
but now Temps are pretty stable at about 60c...so it was definitely something
to do with that costly mistake of a drive!Warranty!!!

Agree that was possibly a flaky drive from day 1, acting up from the start!

I thought the saying was, "You can never have too many delays, delays, delays, delays, delays, delays . . . ."
And I have enough of those, too! ?
Do you have AAS Objeq Delay yet? That one's a lot of fun! ?

You can never have too many reverbs, right?

But $499 for the full Reason 12 Perpetual version (or $444 with code "FORUM")???
Or even $399 for an upgrade from intro/lite, which many folks probably have...
The upgrade pricing might be nice for existing users, but who's going to pay that initial entry fee these days? ?

Take a look at the patch "Factory Content > Simulations > Harp FG".
Even with the polyphony cranked up to 64, the individual notes decay and release as one would expect, with new notes restarting at each key press, then tracking the ADSR envelope. If you turn off the delay and reverb FX, the individual notes fade even much faster.
However, if I turn the delay feedback and level all the way up, it appears to generate a self sustaining feedback loop.

For some reason I start reconsidering updates from IK when I see an IK update thread growing from previous experience.. it generally means they either screwed up the installer, introduced some bugs, or shafted people on pricing ?
I do like some of their stuff though ?
Great example of a conundrum...

Dang! It figures that I would already have that one! ?

That's not too far from me to WUP my Gold/Renn. Not really a fan of calling presets expansion packs.
IMO, the MixBox presets offer some very useful and creative starting points for FX chains. YMMV.

Like RAM, they come with "heat spreaders", which I have it installed. But I'm sure that, due to the CPU heat, and the proximity of the M2 drive in slot 1
to the CPU, that makes a difference. I bought the Thermaltake Pure Plus RGB Triple Pack on sale for $60. I didn't want cheap fans. I debated whether or not
just to buy a new case with fans already in it for about $50 more....but didn't want to do all the work of "rebuilding" again LOL. These should solve the
cooling problem with the M2.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/thermaltake-pure-plus-12-led-rgb-triple-pack-radiator-fan-tt-premium-edition-120mm-case-cooling-fan-kit-with-rgb-lighting-black/6339072.pMaybe you have already done so, but I have arranged my case fans so one end of the case is intake, and the other is exhaust, in order to create cross-ventilation for the interior of the case.
This method is intended to move any hot air that might accumulate inside of the case, to the outside. It works for me, but then again, I'm not running a blow torch for my CPU! ?

Update - if you send me your username (or open/reply to your support ticket) I believe there's a workaround/solution for the modules being greyed out and we can get you up and running. Thanks!
I opened a support ticket, but never received a confirmation with a ticket number.

My magic wand doesn't work. I shall see if they fixed the price issue on Monday.
That's assuming that IK doesn't celebrate July 4th in Italy! ?

It would make sense since my CPU is Gen 3 and it's still running the 3.0 M2 drive...
most likely it means "up to" 4.0So hopefully you can find out if the other M.2 slot runs cooler in your rig.

So after updating Mixbox to 1.5.0 and deciding that I didn't need to see the greyed out options, I reverted to 1.2.0. Not sure if I need to delete 1.5.0 first because 1.2.0 still has the SSSR presets but they cause MixBox to crash (i.e., sudden shut down).
Your first "typo" was probably a more accurate one... ?
And the greyed out options in MixBox are fairly low key, not like the big honking graphics they used in MODO Bass for the locked options.
FYI, anytime you revert an updated program, it's always a good practice to completely uninstall the new stuff first. No telling what will happen when you mix the innards from 2 releases together. Most likely some unpredictable sh*t!!!
*** I always take a full daily system image (nightly) so that I can revert my entire system drive to yesterday on demand, in about 45 mins. In my estimation, that's often much less time invested with that method, compared to manually cleaning up an install gone sideways!

If you aren't seeing the modules after purchase, please try forcing a refresh in IK Product Manager with CTRL/COMMAND-R or restarting it completely.
Forced the refresh, but the product "Sunset Sounds Collection" is still showing up as registered in my Product Manager, but the modules are not activated in MixBox. If I try to load one, it tries to take me to the website to buy it.
I even tried reinstalling and reauthorizing MixBox 1.5.
Notification in IKPM: "MixBox authorized correctly"

Has anyone gotten the Sunset Sound Verb to appear within Mixbox?….and if so how did you do it? (Yeah, I agree the deal itself here is annoying, but for $6.99 I did it)
Still stuck here, unfortunately. I imagine if it's this broke at launch, the IK support desk will get an earful. Just time to be patient and wait for a fix. It's only $6.99, right?
I have tried everything I could think of, including opening up Custom Shop for T-RackS 5 and selecting "restore my purchases", but nothing so far... MixBox itself has no option for that, even in the standalone executable.

Yeah… how do you get it to appear in Mixbox? I’ve registered it in the product manager (went ok), as well as something called Mixbox CS) seemed to go ok)—-but how do I download this Mixbox CS, within which I assume I’ll have to hit “Restore purchases). Why is everything IK so convoluted?
In my IK Product Manager, I only have 1 entry for MixBox, with 3 items listed under the products tab, all registered. But the Sunset Sounds modules are still grayed out in MixBox itself.
- MixBox
- MixBox CS
- Sunset Sounds Collection.

Mine does also...but my M2 drive is PCIe 3.0...and the other slot is 4.0 only
Aha! That makes sense. My board is a couple of years old, and I believe that 4.0 is a more recent feature. Thanks to the steady creep of tech progress...
My board config has both M.2 slots as PCIe 3.0.

Orange Tree Samples 2022 Group Buy - Now At 60% OFF [ENDED]

I jumped on 3 items from that list in the OT group buy last year (my first time with OT):
No regrets! All versatile choices, and I think they sound great! A fine electric guitar, a fine acoustic guitar, and an absolutely stunning Rhodes E piano. Well done OT!
Although I haven't attempted anything with them yet as ambitious as what Pavlov just posted...
