Arthur would just nod Not even we can predict the future, and stuff. (PS. lightyear is not time related, but a measure of distance ? Sorry!?)
-
And how thick are those then? ?
-
How thick are these? They look interesting. All the best.

After playing with it for a little while, I'd say it is suitable for a quite wide array of metal/rock, using the change playback speed option. I only tested it with the Modern bass and the Metal bass.
-
I've yet to get it tested, as I'm in the middle of another project. But I will try to test it a bit later today/tonight, and give my feedback. All the best.

I granted myself this one. Installing after a cig... I think it's the 2nd (or 3rd) thing I've purchased this year. And I get it cheaper directly from TT, due to the currency conversion ?

I feel that ARC 3 has a more "3D" sound to it, compared to SW 4, which feels more "2D". I don't know which other way to describe it. I haven't tested the latest SW version though.

I'd choose Console 1's Empirical Labs Trak Pak if I only had to choose one (not including stock plugins). All the best.

Stay safe and have a good trip, Larry. Hope you'll be back soon.

Hi. I mix mostly on monitors, with IK ARC 3 (room calibration, and Sonarworks 4 (for HP's calibration). I often check on HP's during the mixing process. I have a pair of Fluid FX80's and a pair of IK iLoud Micro's as my monitors, and BD DT770 and AKG K240 as HP's. All the best.

Cool of you to do this again mate ?

Thanks for listening and positive feedback ?
-
Could be fun to play with. I liked the whooshes ? All the best.
-
That's great!

Thank you for listening, and the positive feedback, Michael. I'll add the lyrics in a bit. All the best.

Nais. But as far as I can tell (I just read about it), you'd need to record with an UAD AI, using the Sphere 180 plugin to get stereo recording, or Am I way off? Congrats anyway mate!

My racks are built from IKEA Rast bedside table that I cut down (5U each side) to act as monitor stands as well. I've got one spare which I think has 12 U space, but that is still in its wrapping in the garage (for later, when I get rich and famous and stuff), and has been for some years. I know I got the 3 last ones in Norway at the time. I checked all stores in the country before ordering them, and they were only in 1 store. Web ordered them, and picked them up myself, to make Shure I got the right ones. If I had an eq (or 2), another compressor (or 2), some 500 series stuff, I'd put it together. I feel no rush to get that done though ?
-
Something like that, but YOU get the honor of posting that
-
So you're just 1 rack short? Should be easily fixed ?
-
You once gave me the advice when I said that my racks were full, that I just needed another rack. I'm giving that advice back to you mate You know you "need it" ?
-
I didn't know that way of using the gain on it, but Am certainly gonna try. Thanks for the tip/info ? I've kept the output at unity/zero, and used the input for gain so far. All the best.
-
So you'd consider THAT a geetar. I dread to think what you consider bass ?
-
I have the single channel version w/ eq, and I like it a lot. It's become my main pre for acoustic guitar.
