PSP plugins are great. The one's I have that don't use iLok are excellent they have an excellent Lexicon sim called 2525 or something like that, it's one I still reach for. I know it, it's UI is easy for me to understand. They also have an echo plugin that is great, easy to use, I know it. Old Timer comp is also a winner. As is some of their older comps and eq. PSP is top shelf stuff. No doubt about them. I hated that they went with Pace. But they still let me use the older plugins iLok free, so I am grateful for that.

But... Software companies just seem to roll with the changes and damn the torpedoes!! To me it looks as if they tell themselves "The new technology is here, it ain't going away, we might as well adapt" regardless of what the majority of the user base wants or needs!!! I did get Kontak on a good sale (thanks L***y!) but have barely used it. Not because it's not any good, I just haven't adapted to the UI yet. I have played around a lot with it, but use it? Not sure I have used it in any song yet. So I am gonna wait till the Komplete sale comes along.

Great sounding guitar you got there Kenny. It looks fine as f too!! Great score. You can hear the joy in your playing. Nice. Real nice. Listened a few more times and I really like the sound of the pick attack. I am assuming that you went straight into a audio interface. Or did you mic an amp. Sounds great.

That seems to be the concensus of every owner of Gullfoss I ever heard talk about it. I started to get it in the sale they had sometime ago.

Yeah they had coupons that you could stack. And if you put the right combo of plugins with the vouchers, you get a load of them at "No-Brainer" prices!! Ahh... the good ol days!! : )

I didn't play that one. Heard a lot about it though.

Yeah, I watched the whole thing too!! And it actually had some good parts in it that I thought were interesting. Which leads me to.... Yep. I agree that it's entertainment. Yeah, that's where I am. And seeing the audience grow in size over time was really an eye opener for me!! Me too. [edit] TOTP!!!

Agreed. I like Gorillaz. Really like watching the videos of the songs. Cool stuff. But I would not pay to go to a "concert" style get together to watch them "live". Nope, not me. But I would pay to go watch them on a big screen in a "movie theater". The feeling of the "get together" is not lost on me. My son and I love a band that is not popular in our area. So we drove to Ohio to see them. We were in the first few rows from the stage. In the middle of a song I turned around and saw the crowd, I was in awe. I told my son to turn around and when he did I could see the awe in his face. He never seen 20k people singing the same song, word for word, with thier fists in the air!! No, I understand the communal feeling generated. I just don't see it happening, (at that level!!) To a hologram? I just find it .... astounding that that many people would pay to see this.
