Oh, ok. So it is micing a speaker. That's what I figured but wasn't sure. Then that gets me on another question; What kind of amp is used on the speaker being mic'd? An Ampeg? Or something to just let you hear what your doing? When I am recording my guitar or my bass part, I like to try and get a dry/DI signal recorded also. Just in case I want to go back. Been using the Apollo for this. It also depends on what I am doing and how quick I want to get it recorded. Am I just getting an idea down? Or am I doing a part I fleshed out already and I am ready to commit. For a long time I thought I would only need a two channel audio interface. But I am starting to see the logic in getting at least a four channel. That way I could leave my guitar rig setup the way I want and leave my vocal setup like I want too. Wouldn't have to change anything. But I did tell my wife two or three audio interfaces ago that "This is the last one I will ever need!!" So it's gonna be a little hard to swing that 4 or 8 channel Apollo!!!

Ok, I am following the signal to the Tech21 amp to DAW, but not getting sending a signal to a mic? Is this the mic on the Tech21 speaker cab? And are the two HRK modules and the Lindell modules housed in the Midas box?

So did I. I put it on my wish list. When it goes on sale again I will grab it.

I listened to this album over and over again when it came out. This bass sound is also what I go for when I record my songs. I never noticed a 'growl' that you talk about until you said something about it!! And during the chorus there is definitely a growl. but nothing overpowering, which makes it fantastic sounding. Other bass sounds I try to go for is The Hunt, Whipping Post, Bad Company, of course Waitin' For The Bus and No Sugar, Low Spark ( I could go on and on!!)

I know I am. I got all I want. I maybe want some of the Lindell new plugins, some of the Ampeg amps for kicks, but not much more. And not really excited about any of those to be honest. I just spent about 20-30 minutes looking at the current sale and my $25 voucher, and the only thing I saw that even made me think of a purchase was the unlocked Gig Performer. I can get it down to $75. But I still ain't biting. Maybe another day.

The Green Smasher is a nice sim of the Boogie Grid Slammer. I got that pedal and this sim is a good representation of the real pedal. I also love the Chorus sim too!!

I too gravitate towards Amplitube 5. I just know it so well. But I also use THD U, (that Metro Amp is bad azz.) Been using Kuassa lately and just started using some of the Assault stuff too. Not beyond reaching in the tool box to grab NI GR and Waves GTR.

I am limiting myself to only one game at a time. I was playing Oblivion, but stopped for some reason I can't remember. Now I don't know what my quest was... anyway. Now I am playing PGA Tour I got off Steam in a nice sale. I started a "career"... Will see how far I get with that! It's really a nice golf game.

Reminds me of Hexen that used the Doom Engine. I should add that while I did play Doom on my first pc, it was really Hexen that I played mostly. Then Quake. And Quake II.

Yeah, been feeling the lower end a bit more than I used to. A lot more to be honest!
