Happy Holidays to all forum users. Great times I have had here. Got to meet and become friends with lots of good people. Thanks Bandlab

Zo, for me thr Unison technology has really worked well. I have only used it for vocals and guitar, but it is like night and day compared to what I was recording with my RME Fireface 400. That said, I wished I never would have sold my RME Fireface 400. That thing was rock solid. I am really surprised that more people aren't jumping on the Unison technology of the Apollo. For mic pre-amps, channel strips, and guitar amps use it's a dream come true for home studio users.

Radar screen is going out.

WTF was that stage suppose to be?

I thought it was a good performance. Chaca Kahn was getting with it. Rufus playing well too. The "sound fx" they were doing in the mics was very muddled. They could have backed of the mics and done a lot better.

I picked up their HA2A, Total EQ, and Butterfly plugins for $23. As a side note: I was on My Product Page getting the files to install. I kept noticing something was... blinking? The words looked like small peices of them were going off and on. My first thought was is my new video card going out already? Then I noticed it was happening all over the page. Next thoought was is my old lLSD days coming back to haunt me? Then I realized, it's suppose to be snow!!! But on My Product page it's all white. And the only time you see the 'snow flakes' is when they pass in front of the black letters!! MY excitement for the day.

Agreed with all but one of the above. As much as Apple changes OS requirements, I can understand a dev team wanting to recoup some of their lost time on that. Cause they gonna do it in 6 months time when Apple changes something again. And again... and again... -

Say what you want about WUP. These are great plugins at a fantastic price. Just under $8 a plugin. -
That's what I am saying... that's a no-brainer right there!! And they can throw all the cold they want... bring it on!!

I also am invested in BiaB. I do like the results I get from it. Though I am not as proficient with it as I would like to be. Lots of potential there. I think the $49 pack is a one-time offer. Never to be seen again!! That's what I understand. [TOTP!!]

This is a decent program. Works just like the name says.

Yes I can confirm that RX 10 Standard does separate a song into stems. It does a comparable job to Spectral Layers and Simple Stems. If you wanted to do this and had to choose to buy one program, and ALL you wanted to do was create practice/jam songs for vocals, I'd go with Simple Stems. Name says it all. It really is simple. For more precise editing choose one of the other ones. I will wait on the purchase of Spectral Layers just yet. I will see what RX 10 is capable of first. Thanks to all who responded.

Thanks Brian. I will give this a shot and see what I get. Will get back before too long.
-
Unmix stems? Not from the Standard version. I didn't see any way to do this. Hopefully some RX users will chime in.

Been playing with the demo of Spectral. It is easy to work with for sure. I am getting good results from just playing with it for a few hours. I was able to remove the vocal trk from a song really easy. Then the slight imperfections that was left were fairly easy (for a newb like me) to mitigate. I am sure it can do much more, but the UI is really easy to work with. They have won me over. And I have RX 10 Standard. As a comparison I was opening RX 10 and trying to do the same things in it that I was doing in Spectral, and I ain't saying it can't be done... Spectral's UI made it a whole lot easier for me. And that's pretty much what won me over. LOL!!! Well said!
