If I am not mistaken this was taken around my area here in Louisiana called Bucktown on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

"exposure risk when standing about 3 feet from the capsule is roughly equal to receiving at least 10 X-rays per hour." Wow!! Hope someone doesn't happen along and think "This is interesting!" and pick it up take it home.

Did he find that cat dna?

Agreed. UAD stuff comes real close. So when I record a guitar it's almost always running through a Helios with the gain set for that sound. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Depends on what 'growl' I am going for. Well said.

$8 each. Not a bad deal. I got them all already. They also still have the "Get 4 IR Packs For $5". Just put four packs in your cart and it will automatically reduce them to $5 total. ($1.25 each)

Why wouldn't they do that? Have a amp sim for AT5 and a ToneX sim?

Mine was $6. Still got it too. My gf at the time (who ended up being my first wife) didn't know who PF was when I brought her to the concert. She was always proud of that ticket.

Yep. I love playing music. I have a need inside to play. I hooked up with others that had that same need. We were dedicated to doing our best to make the song enjoyable to the listener. To us that meant "play it like the record" Our next motto was don't play overly loud. We would rather the crowd left because they didn't like the type of music rather than forcing them to leave because they loved the music but it was too loud. And we always treated the owners as our boss, they were the ones handing out the money. Even though some were out right a$*#loes, we treated them as our boss. That helped with repeat gigs. We practiced a lot. By our selves before we brought the songs in to play for the first time, and even after we knew all our songs. We stayed tight. You have to. Because we came to a realization: Even though we prided ourselves on our music abilities, when we were up there on that stage, we were entertainers. And people were paying us to entertain them. And if we wanted to keep on doing this, we had to keep them entertained (iow, coming back). I had a good friend that I learned a lot from. Guitar player as good as SRV. Seriously. All he wanted and would play was SRV or Johnny Winter songs. The bass player and drummer were an excellent rhythm section in their own right. Best in our area without a doubt. There was every reason to go see these guys perform. I would go to his shows (he was an unbelievable player, really) and after about 30 minutes my wife would want to leave. She just didn't know anything he was playing. I looked around at many of his gigs and the main ones I saw was the local guitar players, members of other bands and a few blues lovers. But boy could he play (RIP Timmy). [edit]TOTP!![/edit]

Saw the same show in Baton Rouge same year. Best show I ever went to. Man I was so lucky to have seen them back then. They played almost all of DSOTM. They started on WYWH, but only did some of it. They opened with the Animals show, which was great!! I really like the Animals album.

Same here, no issues.

Yep. I got his last two Epiphone guitars, a 59 reissue "Lazarus" and an red ES-335. But play and sound excellent. I also have two tickets to see him at the Saenger Theater in NOLA in March.

We would do this too. And the bar owners loved it. Reward was more beer, more shots!!! And we just kept on roll'n!! If the crowd was good we would play till 4 or 5 in the morning. Of course we made them pay for that!!

Me too. But it didn't work

Been looking at their LP Build it kits. Nice looking. Almost bought one right before Christmas with the sales going on. Think it was like around $270. I would need the tools of course. And that was the hold off factor. But I am still looking seriously into doing one in the near future.

I was thinking the same.

Neither did I!!

I have no idea why. It's obvious that common sense has nothing to do with it, I can assure you of that!

^^^This^^^^^ How's it going John! Been a while ol boy. I was wondering about you the other day. I too am not posting as much as I use to (unless I am bored at work !). JUst trying to get all my stuff together for a final "product" if I can even call it that. Been hanging here in the CH more than anything as of late. I will start watching your videos. I could use some refreshers and new outlook on some features. [edit] Just watched the Multiband video. Nice, I liked that. BTW, I have always pronounced Sonitus as "So-nite-us". I have heard others pronounce it the way you do. I was wondering how everyone else does it?

Are they the ones that had that fantastic "Vintage 64"? Yes that's them. A little research and I found a lot of links to old forum posts from the old forum. It was Vintage Channel 64. That was a great plugin. Sounded excellent. Low CPU hit. Two comps with EQ. Great plugin. It never went to 64bit.
