Yes I really like that song too.

I like her Nigel (B Blue). Really raw stuff. Saw her come up on stage with Joe B. at the Sanger back in March. She is the real deal. What some may not know is the guitar she is playing in that video is a "cigar box" guitar. Reminiscent of old blues players who couldn't afford a real guitar.

Another "Prime Member Only" deal.
-
That's a good deal. I see a pattern here. Just last week I bought a 1tb M.2 (Gen3) drive for $39. I may still get this... I could replace that 1tb Intel drive. I am out of M.2 slots. And I don't think I have enough expansion slots left to put in a add-in card. Will have to open it up to see.

This seems like a good deal if your in the market for choir. Is there something I am not seeing? Not aware of? Any "gotchas"?
-
Another good thing is if you bought into the group buy, you can get more than the one purchase you commit to. IOW, you can buy more at the discount rate.

Thanks... I forgot about mine too. So you reminding me helped me save some more!! Evo Rik 12 = $56.

Top 10 Overrated Guitar Players of All Time!!!??
Grem replied to Old Joad's topic in The Coffee House
I saw Clapton in Nola years ago. He had Mark Knopfler playing with him! I think it was the Journeyman tour, or around that time. I had never seen him before. And having read so much about him. How in the early days he was called "God" by fans. I figured there was no way this guy was gonna live up to all the hype. Well he was doing a good job of playing. Him and Mark were feeding off each other. Great show. But he changed my mind when he started playing "Wonderful Tonight". The hair on the back of my neck was standing up! I could feel every note he was playing. I turned to looked at my wife and she said to me her hair was standing up on the back of her neck!! I looked at the people around me and I could see they were all in awe. There was something happening to all of us. It was magical. I grant you, there is more hype said about Clapton than maybe any other guitarist. And I never would have believed it if I hadn't felt it myself. Over-rated? Not Clapton. He got something. Mofo got it!! Santana? Love his tone. Phasing... not so much. -
Very interesting video. Looks like we are all f'd here in the next few years. Bapu, better get that song wrote. And I better finish my album very soon. Doesn't look like I will get to spend my 401 money!!

Nice mixer. What a story!!! I have never liked FedEx. Over the years they seem to have an issue finding where I live. Granted I have moved more than once, but UPS, USPS, Amazon, and Walmart all seem to be able to get to me.

Yes I have read the same. Speculation that is just the beginning. Google wants to downsize the servers used to house all that dam spam they allow out into the wild everyday.

Just realized/found out that Microsoft is neck deep in ChatGPT!! They will buy it and will turn it into the many other companies that MS took over. IOW, nothing. They have some type of plan that will leverage the AI into the OS and finally be able to take over all computing. Putting them on top and Apple on the floor once and for all!!
-
I have also read from either Musician magazine or one of the Guitar (World/Player) magazines interview of Robbie that he played bass on some of the songs. I can't remember which one song/s it was.

Anyone knows who played Bass for the doors?

Here is a question: The prices that I see on the "Products" page reflect the current discount? IOW I see the price for the "Complete Bundle" as $2k. Is the with the current 55% discount? Or will the 55% discount be applied to that $2k price? Did I make myself clear!!? : )

Yes, I agree. They have always done very good with the verbs they release. I need to work with Fame. Have not even tried it. Haven't gotten Stone yet.
-
Excellent sounding verbs. No they don't. When the CSR were released they were very good quality reverb for a decent price. And not bad on the CPU of the time.

Yep, I have used these methods. I have a splitter when using my real amp, and have used a DI/amp sim trks also. Back in early 90's I was recording guitar into a ART SGX, out to (small) Yamaha board, then into tape. Simple. I remember vividly recording a solo on a song and I kept messing up. So I redid it the max amount of times I allowed myself (I think it was four). Still wasn't satisfied. So I did it a few more times. Still was not happy, but I had to go to work. I was not happy with the take and knew I could do better. So my plan was to continue with another take tomorrow. As life happens, it wasn't the next day, but several days before I could get back to recording. When I went back to listen, I couldn't figure out why I disliked the take so much. It went to the final mix. I didn't redo the take. So... I listened to that song sometime last year and decided that I am screwing around too damn much with all the options I have available to me. I am now "committing to tape" so to speak. What I need to do now is re-learn to trust myself, and just go with it. (And stop all that damn fiddling around when I am tracking!!)

I Have Been Vindicated (The Am Bass Note Has Been Detected)
Grem replied to Bapu's topic in The Coffee House
Well... if he played violin, then surely he could have played bass!! I mean... how hard.... can it be!!? LOL!! -
Yep. Got a song I am.working on. Guitars just not sounding right. So over several weeks I have tried different takes with pretty much the same results. So I think maybe a delay on one would help..... next thing I know I am neck deep in fxs swaping!! So I realized I just needed a clean take, and I can fiddle with it later. I just need to stay focused and get the elements down.
