Dig this... JRR sent another email just now with another code!!! Can you believe that!! And yes, this code worked!! Whew Who!! Damn Larry, as soon as you reacted to my post, the email came through!! I don't think people around here really realize the power you have!!! : )
-
Yeah, I was able to figure it out, once I went up to my studio and saw what I actually had in CbB. I mean there was no way for me to see that info on their site Larry. That's what I was trying to get across. (sometimes I get brain farts!!) Once I figured out what I had, and what was offered in that deal from MPS 2.1 to 3, I was like, yeah, that's a good deal! And got it. Now I got to wait on some damn supprot ticket to wonder it's way around before I can get my stuff. SMFH.

Alright, now the BS starts. Went to JRR and got that upgrade from MPS 2.1 to MPS 3 for $167. Sweet deal! JRR sent the serial number right away. Tried to enter it at Izotope and it tells me it can't add that serial to my account. Sent in a support ticket to Izotope. May send something to JRR too. I should be d/l my product now!!

I agree. That's why I was saying it was a good deal before I even looked at the O9A new features. Yeah, I just got MPS 2.1 in June I think. Went to look at my account to see what I had in MPS 2.1 and it's no longer available. Gotta get it from the Legacy section! And dig this, it shows only as MPS 2, but when you go to d/l it, it's 2.01. So, lets say I didn't pay for MPS 2.1, would I be able to d/l the 2.1 version because I have the MPS 2? That's some really confusing stuff over there. : ( With MPS 2.1 I got Neutron 3, Nextar 3, Relay, and the RX 7 stuff. If I went with the new MPS 3, only thing new would be O9A. I think. That's what I'm saying, it ain't easy to figure out!

Here is a little example I did of using the Riffer plugin. the notes remain the same, the volume on them remains the same, only the duration was changed for 4 times. Then each clip was dragged into CbB and madeup one measure each. So you have 4 clips with all the same notes and volume, only duration has changed. I then arranged the next 4 bars (clip I posted is 8 bars long) from the first four in random order. I am pleased with the results. Took me less than 5 minutes to do this btw. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lJeYcIHiVeKfzCh0T3NtnOG8WdTUALu3

Waves Mixers Toolbox Flash Sale - All Compressors from $29
Grem replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Alright, we all know the big names are good. And at this price a lot of that stuff is no-brainer stuff. But I can tell you, that Audio Channel, Renaissance Channel, and the V-Comp, along with all the L Comps are really good stuff. And just throwing this out there, if you ain't got that API 2500 comp, get it at this price!!- 1 reply

Matt, I wanted to get the Focusrite. I'll be honest. But I came to the same conclusion. I mean I went there with every intention of doing what you were suggesting. Getting all the high dollar plugins I wanted and then using my voucher, getting them for around $67. Then I saw that $149 Flanger (that I really want BTW), so I put it in the cart also. Applied all the discounts and it was still way too much. Way too much. And to add insult to injury... I saw up at the top of the web page, "For the price your paying in your cart you could have over a year of all the plugins" or something to that effect, and that's when I said, nope. Ain't doing this. Like I told Larry, I would rather give $200 to Izotope for an upgrade to O9A than to get this stuff. And did I mention I wanted that Focusrite? And that damn $149 flanger!

Nope, I ain't that lucky!! $399 loyalty prive, till 31 Oct. I looked at the Neutron 3 'compare editions' chart and was surprised that there are things in the Essential edition and not in the Standard edition. Why? should the next version up contain everything the version below it has? Why make it difficult to make a decision!? Some of these marketing people have no clue...

@Mesh Gave Riffer a run today for about an hour. It took a little while to get my head around it, but it is quite different from Cthulhu. After using Cthulhu for a while now, that thing is a beast. Make no mistake. It goes really deep. But you gotta work with it to figure this stuff out. I have never seen a manual on it, only videos. And the videos never use CbB! There is stuff on that thing I still have no clue what it is or what it does! I need to send the guy a email and ask I guess!! NTOT!! I started Riffer and used Ultra Analog as the synth. Wasn't getting much out of it in the first few minutes. Like I siad, took me a few minutes to get my head around it. I was losing the desire to keep on, so I had a thought, let me try EZD2 with it. And was I surprised! You can get some really good grooves going with it. With a little playing around you can get different sections of the drums going just moving the screen. Things started making sense to me and I was able to get more stuff that would be useable. I save quite a few clips just with the regular drum set. Then I started looking at the type of scales that you can use and an idea hit me. So I loaded up the Latin Precussion set in EZD2 and yep, it worked. With some playing around and more understanding of what was going on, I was seeing that this could be really useful. But I wanted to use it with a synth sound, so I set it back up with Ultra Analog. And then I really got into what all the different settings do. On the right side there are Pitch, Duration and Volume. With the Pitch engaged, you can hit the dice (random button) and get note. With the Duration engaged, hit the dice and the durations gets chnged, but not the notes. Same with the volume engaged. And with these three settings you would be surprised at the variety that comes along! The Shuffle, Shift sliders, the Tie Notes and Sustain Paused help to get more out of a groove. I would say that it's worth the asking price. Glad I got this. It will be used. Shout out to Catanya. Simple but very effective plugin. Don't count it out. It may not be the beast like these two are, but it can do a great job.

That would be a good deal, but I haven't even looked at what O9 has got new. I am still getting into MPS2. Put it to you this way, I'd give Izotope my $200 before I gave PA $249!!!
-
Yeah I looked.... it ain't worth it to me. $149 for a damn flanger?!!! $67 for the Forcusrite would be worth that. But the other two that I would throw in to get the $249 deal would most likely not be used enough to justify the cost of $249.

Alright, I got my voucher for this month. $50. I came here to read all the spoofing people would be doing on this deal. But... Matt makes a good point..... So I am like, yeah let me check this out and see what's going on. First plugin I see is a Flanger for $149!!! OMG! They got to be out of their freaking minds!!! But I do want that Focusrite...... Maybe I'll have another look..... LOL!!!

I just got MPS 2!!! I ain't even wore the nibs off it yet!!
-
Wow! This is another huge update. You guys working OT up there!! : )

Never saw the generated password thing. And I left the page up all night so that I would see it in the morning to remind me to look at this product. I was using Chrome. @Mesh I will post back. And your right, I got a few of these. I want to sit and try out this new one, Chuthu, Harvest, another one I forgot the name, and see how each works.

Went ahead and picked this up. Haven't played with it yet. But it does look like it has some features I would like. Watched some of the videos. Looks kinda easy too.

If you look to the right at the price, under that is has a spot the asks if your an "E-Blast Insider" and asks for your email. You may be able to join and get the $79 price. IDK, haven't tried it.

Saw this on my email. NewEgg has this for $99, 4TB external. But if you get their email, you can get it for $79! Which is a great price for a 4TB external. This is not a fast drive, so make no mistake you won't be streaming large libraries from it. But for bkups and general storage? It's a deal. https://www.newegg.com/seagate-model-stea4000409-4tb/p/N82E16822184822?Item=N82E16822184822&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL100119&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL100119-_-EMC-100119-Index-_-HardDrive-_-Blitz-22184822-S0

-
Wow!! Great deal there!
-
Agreed!! And at first I was like "If they can't make it look better, than I ain't gonna mess with it" Glad I tried it!!
-
I like the way this thing sounds. That is a really good price on that comp.
-
I thought that AT4 let you store your presets where you want? Yeah, you can tell it where you want to save. Default is the place you point out.
-
I have Cthulhu also. I have used it but not enough to know my way around it. Thanks Kitekrazy

How is it authorized? I didn't see any info on the authorization method. I see I can use it on three different machines, which is great. Edit: I found out, somewhat. Looks like they send a serial number and you register the product on the website. Now how it's actually authorised on each machine they don't say. I think that once it's registered into your account, you then fire up the program, it checks in and gets the ok with the login info to your account. Don't know for sure.
