  1. Good deal you got in on there. I like that plugin. Sounds really good.
  2. Worked as expected for me. I did have to log back in though.
  3. Grabbed this new Funky pack and got the Blues pack also.
  4. Used my voucher to get the museq for free!! Glad I held out till now. : )
  5. Ok, so if you don't like WUP, no big deal. These are still the best bang for the buck plugins out there, hands down. Even if you never WUP, you will get your money's worth. You own the plugin!! And you can use it as long as the your DAW will work!
  6. I don't have a big touch screen. All I have is a Surface Pro 3. Screen ain't that big. But I could see you using them on a touch screen. More so than the old legacy versions.
  7. Here ya'll go. These are a good representation of the new Ren plugins. I like them! On the REQ they have a button that turns the EQ bands on one at a time or show all at the same time. And they have an analyzer for the eq too.
  8. Also found out this info from the WC11 Manual, so if anyone is still having issues with running different versions of Waves Plugins there is a tool now included in WC that may help: While it is technically possible to use a mix of products with different software versions (e.g., V9, V10, V11), we recommend that all of your products are the same version. This provides a more stable environment and makes it easier to diagnose conflicts between plugins and hosts. If you have installed several versions and are experiencing issues after installation or activation (e.g., host not loading plugins or running the wrong version), run the Version Organizer in Settings>Maintenance > Version Organizer. This will align the plugin versions with the licenses and move unused plugins to a separate folder. This does not affect your license and you can continue to use each version.
  9. The new WC looks good to me!! It has a lot of new features that I can see. Makes it much easier for me to see what I have and don't have. If you look at the Support/Help drop down menu you will see a link that will take you to all the old installers. Lots of installers. Each one different for sure. But at least it's easier to locate them now. And my Mercury WUP ended in Sep. Here ya go Zo! You get three "Skins" Light, Dark, Legacy. As you can see, they new GUI looks much better and are bigger.
  10. Just roll with it. I had something similar happen with Amazon. I bought a $500 KitchenAid mixer for my wife. They sent me two!! And when I sent the other one back they credited me a refund!! Tried to tell them many times. But you never speak to a person so... I just rolled with it. : )
  11. I was going to point out. Last few BF, the deals leading up to BF were better than the BF deals themselves. And I am not just talking about IK. I think the marketers have figured out that there are lots of uniformed buyers who will buy on BF just because it's BF. So they don't give the deals that they use to give.
  12. I keep forgetting about the Spring Box. When I think of reverb, it's not a "spring" reverb. But the control on the Spring Box makes it unique and very controlable.
  13. I like PSP stuff. The Old Timer is a really good comp. Along with that Master Comp. That's really nice. Love that 2445 reverb. And if you can, try out those Mix Series plugin. That Mix Saturation is really good! [edit] Forgot about the Spring Box. That is an excellent spring reverb with some outstanding control on it. It will work on a full mix. Try it! : )
  14. Yes it is massive!! Lots of midi loops too. Wonderful sounds. Really am pleased with the Total Studio Max purchase.
  15. Glad to hear this. I think this is the first time I have seen it stated by someone for IK. Not saying you have never said it, it's just the first time I am seeing it.
  16. Only thing I got against ST4 is the amount of stuff!!! How many gb does that thing have!!??
  17. On my old Boogie Mk IIB I had something in it making a whining sound that I couldn't figure out. Went for days trying this and that. I was about to bring it back and I happened to just touch the fan and when I did it stopped!! I had to put a thin shim in between the fan and chassis to get it to stop. Never made the sound again and it's been 30+yrs!!
  18. That was a shock wasn't it!! But for some reason I can not even say today, I just dropped everything I knew in the old Sonar and embraced the X series. And it took a while for me to re-learn things. But the main thing I noticed about my approach to the new X series was that I didn't try and make it do what the old Sonar did. I just went with the new way. Much less frustration on my part. But others tried and tried to get X1 to do what 8.5 did, and stayed in constant frustration/anger really a lot longer than needed! So my advice to anyone taking the plunge from 8.5 to the new Cakkewalk, leave your old ways at the door!! And just jump on in, the water is fine (once you adjust!) : )
  19. I picked up the Mk3 upgrade for SongKey Finder. <$4
  20. Don't know if you've tried the Mesa Pedals, the Tone Burst, Grid Slammer, or Flux Drive. All three sound really good and are responsive. I also have Keeley older 4 knob comp that I really like. I went many years without using any pedals at all, and when I did use them it was only a few. (only a Ibanez Flange and Analog Delay). However, today I got pedals out the wazoo!! That's another rabbit hole!!
  21. Maybe that's the update they plan on/working on. We can hope!!
  22. I really like the Metro amp in TH3 and it sounds really good in TH-U profile.
  23. They are not bad. I like them more and use them more than the PA bx amps. They have some good tone options that you can play with in the Bias settings. The Bias has settings has Bias, Speed, and Sag that does affect the way it feels. Might not matter to a non-player. But it does alter the sound and transients somewhat. It's been a while since I played around with them so I have forgotten what they are really sound like. But I do remember that I liked them. And each one has a different sound. All three has an Input and Output, a stomp with 6 different distortions, and a tuner. And the Cabinet section is really nice. It comes with some really decnt cab ir and you can load your own IR. You get two spots to load the ir and then you can adjust/tune those the way you want and then export that as your own IR. And this is just me looking at them and remembering what I read up on them. They are worth the asking price for sure. Much better than the GRT that waves has. I enjoy playing them.
