I was going to point out. Last few BF, the deals leading up to BF were better than the BF deals themselves. And I am not just talking about IK. I think the marketers have figured out that there are lots of uniformed buyers who will buy on BF just because it's BF. So they don't give the deals that they use to give.

I keep forgetting about the Spring Box. When I think of reverb, it's not a "spring" reverb. But the control on the Spring Box makes it unique and very controlable.
-
I like PSP stuff. The Old Timer is a really good comp. Along with that Master Comp. That's really nice. Love that 2445 reverb. And if you can, try out those Mix Series plugin. That Mix Saturation is really good! [edit] Forgot about the Spring Box. That is an excellent spring reverb with some outstanding control on it. It will work on a full mix. Try it! : )

Yes it is massive!! Lots of midi loops too. Wonderful sounds. Really am pleased with the Total Studio Max purchase.

Glad to hear this. I think this is the first time I have seen it stated by someone for IK. Not saying you have never said it, it's just the first time I am seeing it.

Only thing I got against ST4 is the amount of stuff!!! How many gb does that thing have!!??

On my old Boogie Mk IIB I had something in it making a whining sound that I couldn't figure out. Went for days trying this and that. I was about to bring it back and I happened to just touch the fan and when I did it stopped!! I had to put a thin shim in between the fan and chassis to get it to stop. Never made the sound again and it's been 30+yrs!!

That was a shock wasn't it!! But for some reason I can not even say today, I just dropped everything I knew in the old Sonar and embraced the X series. And it took a while for me to re-learn things. But the main thing I noticed about my approach to the new X series was that I didn't try and make it do what the old Sonar did. I just went with the new way. Much less frustration on my part. But others tried and tried to get X1 to do what 8.5 did, and stayed in constant frustration/anger really a lot longer than needed! So my advice to anyone taking the plunge from 8.5 to the new Cakkewalk, leave your old ways at the door!! And just jump on in, the water is fine (once you adjust!) : )

I picked up the Mk3 upgrade for SongKey Finder. <$4

Don't know if you've tried the Mesa Pedals, the Tone Burst, Grid Slammer, or Flux Drive. All three sound really good and are responsive. I also have Keeley older 4 knob comp that I really like. I went many years without using any pedals at all, and when I did use them it was only a few. (only a Ibanez Flange and Analog Delay). However, today I got pedals out the wazoo!! That's another rabbit hole!!

Maybe that's the update they plan on/working on. We can hope!!

I agree.

I really like the Metro amp in TH3 and it sounds really good in TH-U profile.
-
They are not bad. I like them more and use them more than the PA bx amps. They have some good tone options that you can play with in the Bias settings. The Bias has settings has Bias, Speed, and Sag that does affect the way it feels. Might not matter to a non-player. But it does alter the sound and transients somewhat. It's been a while since I played around with them so I have forgotten what they are really sound like. But I do remember that I liked them. And each one has a different sound. All three has an Input and Output, a stomp with 6 different distortions, and a tuner. And the Cabinet section is really nice. It comes with some really decnt cab ir and you can load your own IR. You get two spots to load the ir and then you can adjust/tune those the way you want and then export that as your own IR. And this is just me looking at them and remembering what I read up on them. They are worth the asking price for sure. Much better than the GRT that waves has. I enjoy playing them.

Wonder why? Maybe a mistake?
-
Lots of good stuff in there. Prices are only so-so except for those first four. After that ehg.
-
Got mine!! Thanks!

Yes Steven, that's what I have heard about the profiling amps. You can get an exact sound, but when you try to adjust the tone, you loose the original "pic". And like Piotr says, that still maybe a desired sound
-
You would have to talk to someone who has a "Profiling" amp to really get the idea of it. But from what I have gathered a amp such as Kemper takes a pic of you rig from start to finish and gives you that exact sound. If it's an impulse file Idk. But a guy like @Jim Roseberry has that kind of amp and swears by it. Maybe he will come in and give some info from a user.
-
And with the code GROUP you can go even lower!! I did pick up the ADD MP1 pack. : )
-
I forgot I had purchased this upgrade. So now that I know I have it, I want to get a few of these Rig packs. Anyone has some advice on which ones are some of the better ones? They are on sale for $19!! All of them, $19. [edit] Not all the TH-U packs are $19. All are on sale, but some (like the Choptones) are $29. Sorry for any confusion.
-
I do have it. And I figured between these two I could really get some stuff to sing along with!!
-
I grabbed this. And got LoopCloud Bundle + for free.

You do know that Noel is an accomplished jazz guitarist, right?

Amplitube has an input adjustment. [edit] I have Mercuraill ReAxes and really like that a lot. Also have their Somps which work well too.
