To be honest Fleer, I like the IK version better. That and the 670 comp to me in my opinion sound much better than Waves versions. There is just something about the IK versions that put them over the top. Forgot to add that I have the Klanghelm MJUC too and it's just as good as the IK version. And for the money the MJUC is hard to beat.

Good deal here. IK stepn' up for Christmas time!! Glad to see that. Good deals by the boat load!!

Never thought of these drives being portable. Nice.

I did get: EZ Keys Dream Machine EXP Hooks and Chord midi pk. PA Lindell Series 80 BiaB 2020 upgrade with all the extras And that's it. I'm happy camper.

So if I got Total Studio Max already, I got no where to go, correct? IOW, they haven't added anything that I could see. Am I missing something?
-
I didn't get a whole lot either. But I had grabbed that SS-11X a few months back during a sale. Really like that sim a lot. It really has a good clean sound. Nice and warm.

That's why I gave up gaming. Still call myself a gamer, I just don't allow myself to play any!! I just get sucked up into a game and that's all I do!!

What is a Maxgrade?

Does it take the full version of Kontak to work?

Yes, you will have to devote some time to it. Then using it becomes more enjoyable. Once you understand how the GUI is laid out, it makes so much more sense than when you first look at it. You can take one of the presets, set the kick on one and three, snare on two and four, then adjust the timing to get the exact beat your looking for with the feel your seeking. Then turn that into a style. Set up a song with intro, verse, and so on, using that style!! What is really exceptional about Jamstix is as the song progresses, so does the drum parts. IOW it knows when it's at the chorus and then back at the verse. Select different drummers to see what you come up with, or stay with what you created. This program is really amazing. I could go on.... : )

That Townhouse comp sounds really good!!

@Brian Walton I remember reading about other users working on their own maps having trouble with the hihats just like your describing. Just go to the forum and describe what you're trying to do and they will help you work it out. You never know, you may have found a bug and Ralph would want to know about it.

Scook is correct, it's not that hard to make your own. If you need help with it the Rayzoon forums aren't as quick with responses as this forum is, but they always do respond. And it's very helpful.

Rayzoon is a really good company. Once I missed a sale and I wrote him and he gave me the sale price a month later. It was an upgrade from 2 to 3. Now I own everything he sells except the odd meter pak.

Really like BiaB. Made myself sit and learn it. And I use it with Sample Tank. Makes a huge difference. As ZT said, it does generate great midi also. This happened to me also. But once I made myself learn the program, it was a much more satisfying experience. In fact once I started 'getting it' I was able to come up with songs in style I had never ventured into. Really worth the time spent to get to know it. As I was kinda late getting to know how to use BiaB, I missed out on the Styles discounts. I only need 2 & 4. I will get those when they come out with a new pak in the summer.

Send an email to Ralph and see what he tells ya. He may give a deal. Ya never know.
-
Done. Thanks for this info. I had forgot about BiaB being updated this time of year.

Great program. Really nice to work a song out with. Once you learn what it's features are and do, you can get a song structure in just a few minutes.

I got a 4tb one a while back. Also have a 2tb WD Passport. You can't beat these small drive for massive storage and portability.

Again I would stress to all who are using Waves v9 & v10 plugins with v11, to run the plugin organizer in WC 11. There were some issues with the older versions of WC not installing/uninstalling the shells correctly. This has been sorted out with WC 11. And again I would advise that if you have one v11 plugin not working with other versions of Waves plugin, contact support. What have you got to loose? Also I will say again that I am using v11 Waves plugins and have had no problems with older projects in CbB.

You are correct with this. But if you have one v11 plug and it's not playing well with v9 or v10, they will help with that.
